It also wouldn’t have been a huge surprise if they had just released Robinson from the practice squad. They did that with some guys who maxed out their elevations last season. Darius Harris is the other experienced ST LB on the practice squad, and Tavai is also eligible to return in a week. Seems like they’re just saving that open roster spot for him.

Panthers had 224 TOTAL yards of offense last week.
Pats should be competitive.

30-0 win give some pause. Did anyone see the game ... although I'd imagine only family members are tuning into a Panthers-Falcons thrilla.

Don't turn the ball over, don't self-sabotage with penalties and they should win this one.
I'd agree. I'd feel much better if gonzo plays.. lagaette and King tut can get busy on this secondary minus gonzo...

This board will erupt if Parker Romo hits a bunch of field goals and Borregales misses his. Lol
Parker Romo is on the Falcons. But Carolina does have a rookie kicker who is 7-7 this season.

Just don't play the Panthers the way we played the Steelers
Play them exactly like we did the Steelers, except for 5 plays.

If we can't beat Carolina at home, I might just turn into a BC Lions fan and root for Rourke.
This HAS to be a win. We already lost to a team that we were much better than.
There can't be anymore duds like that.

Top 10 bi#*hes…

This is why I feel he will be a Franchise QB
He is 22 years old and excelling in many categories
Yes he needs to clean up Int’s and Hero ball fumbles
Yes he overthrows at times
Still a bit raw but now has good coaching which will fine tune him and finally give him some consistency with OC
He is so young. But you can see his progression.
It is exciting to know after Brady that we have the most important position locked up
I’m that confident

Absolute must win.
Bryce Young stinks. Defense is OK. Penix is not an NFL starting QB so that helped them a ton last week.
Maye vs Young? SHOULD be a blow out.
Faith in this team not shooting itself in the foot over and over is not high.
As 5.5 point favorites at home coming off of a tough loss they need to come out fast and prove they can play good winning football.
Gonzalez needs to be back and get his feet wet, play 20 plays, whatever.
if they can get up 10 early they'll cruise.

They just haven't really opened well outside of the Miami game, both home games were slow starts.

Just watched every pass from Bryce Young this year. I don't know if I've watched much of him since his rookie year but he has gotten better. You see some of the pocket calmness and the decision making that scouts liked.

Of course, his arm strength is limiting, downfield passes are tough, he needs a clean pocket to get enough on throws 20 yards or more. The deep outs take forever and open guys aren't open by time ball gets there. He also takes some really long drops so he can see down the field.
If you sit in zone defense and don't get pressure, he'll look really good. Get any pressure and he makes bad throws though has some mobility. The line seems like it does a solid job pass protecting.

If you can play a bunch of man and try to limit the inside throws you should have success. OF course, any pressure added to that on the pass rush, and he's done.

Tet is OK, separation is meh vs man, mainly uses his size to make plays vs man. Easy guy to stick to in man for a guy like Gonzo. He does seem to find the right spots in zone. Another reason playing man more often this game makes a ton of sense.
Marcus Jones needs to never cover him!
Should be in the league a long time, but lack of separation vs man probably keeps him from reaching that true #1 level as I would expect the top man coverage corner could take him out of most games. Of course, not too many of those.
Would be curious to see him with a different QB though.

Bryce Young is one of those guys who's limited because he's 5'10". And he doesn't have a strong arm. He does do lots of other things decent-to-well, but it's going to be tough for him long-term.
