I'm pretty sure this will eliminate them. They lose out on tiebreakers for the last spot no matter what, either to the Steelers, Ravens, Chargers or Raiders. Those four teams are playing against each other today so two of them are guaranteed wins.

If the Colts lose, they miss the playoffs IF the Patriots win. Ravens v. Steelers and Raiders v. Chargers decide the other wild card spots.

Steelers win, Chargers win: wild cards are Pats, Chargers, Steelers
Ravens win, Chargers win: wild cards are Pats, Chargers, Raiders
Steelers win, Raiders win: wild cards are Pats, Raiders, Steelers
Ravens win, Raiders win: wild cards are Pats, Raiders, Ravens

If the Patriots lose...

So, technically, yes, they are not yet eliminated, but their only avenue of making it in is a Pats loss, Steelers loss, and Chargers loss. The wild cards would change if the Patriots win and the Bills lose, but the Patriots winning the division and bumping Buffalo to a wild card position does not present any avenues for the Colts to make the postseason in any way.

Like it would matter, the lions are almost as bad as the jest as far as drafting and developing players no matter how high the pick is.
