There is a new #1. Congrats to Ring 6 for taking over the top spot this week. As we have seen by the incredible shake up in the standings, no lead is safe. Shout out to venecol and Calhoun44 for joining the 100k+ Club. And a special mention to 1960Pats who had been languishing with little money for several weeks. He used the 10k loan well (the loan is now paid off) and is now only $9600 away from qualifying for the playoffs! His rise from near extinction has been impressive.
As of now, the top 13 would be competing for playoff betting in 2 weeks. Following Week 18 completion, we will crown the 1st ever Regular Season Champion, and that person will receive a custom brown banner from Ian to display proudly forever. At that time, any Division winner and regular season winning prop bets will be added to bank rolls for playoff betting. Any time during the playoffs that other prop bets are determined (Conf champ, MVP, etc), money will be added to bank rolls and count toward the final playoff champion.
Remember, whatever your final bank roll ends up being, you will carry over 10% of that for next season's preseason prop bets! It may not seem like a big thing now, but it will provide a huge advantage next year. Everyone below 50k is guaranteed $5k additional next year, but don't blow your bank roll on an all or nothing playoff bet! Believe me, you are going to want the extra $$$$ for next year's preseason prop bets. There will be a shyt load of prop opportunities. Those of you who need a Hail Mary to reach 50k, go for it! Your carryover to next year is guaranteed to be 5k even if you go bust. Make that push for the playoffs. If you owe the casino 10k, however, the 5k will be lost next year. Something to keep in mind.
Since there is no Thursday game, I will not be in as much of a rush to get the lines up in the betting thread this week. We will let the lines settle for a couple days. I will have the betting thread ready for you by Thursday evening at the latest.

***edit*** @venecol corrected my error as I had originally said that mid season prop bets decided before the start of playoffs would factor into regular season championship. Passing yards and division winners will affect that.
