I expect a hard fought game where the patriots struggle to move the ball and struggle to stop the pass

Few thoughts, first if I was “dart” I might fake a season ending injury because he is likely to have one anyway. But the last two games the giants played they were leading two playoff teams well into the 4th quarter. Winston yesterday was 18/36 for 366 2TD and an INT against the Lions. They ran for 122. Granted the lions ran for 201. Against the Packers Winston threw for 201 and they ran for 142. Someone already mentioned the Pats O-Lion is likely to be overwhelmed by the Giants defensive line, I agree. I dont think this is an easy game at all, Im guessing we will see a close game. BTW we have no pass rush so Winston can make us pay for that, he’s still a dam good athlete. I think the Pats should win this but I dont think it is the easy game folks are saying it is.

They can score and rush the passer.
We are super banged up on our Oline and have struggled to run the ball.
Our run D was getting gashed yesterday.
I will be picking the Pats, but this is definitely a game we could lose.

Sounds like every game.
If we were healthy I would feel good about it.
I have seen too much bad play from Lowe to think he is going to come in and play at a decent level against a tough front.
Hope I'm wrong, maybe Marrone and Co. can get him to a serviceable level.

You need to make adjustsments to your gameplan. Lowe will never be Will Campbell.

Not expecting a pretty performance. Hoping for a gutsy one. Anything that produces a W and avoids major new injuries would be ideal.

Of course. A win is a win, they all count the same.
Assuming we get the Lowe we all know, this is a big week for McD.
Would be a good week to get the screen game going.
We use to be very good at it in the past with McD. We haven't run it much this year, and when we did the results were not great.

Ok so like, I see this a lot.

Verdarian Lowe sucks, we all can agree on that, yes?

Mike Onwenu, Morgan Moses and Garrett Bradbury already don't get out on screens...but you want to make them, or Lowe try to get out on a screen (with the added benefit of watching Lowe immediately fall and miss a cut block)?

We don't run screens because we /can't/ run screens. They tried early in the year. They were terrible at it, and stopped doing it, because the majority of our linemen aren't agile enough to do it.

Everything says this will be a hard fought game...injuries, red zone struggles, run defense suddenly vulnerable, etc

Can't shake the feeling, though, that this might wind up being a blowout...in favor of the Pats, of course

That Giants Dline is going to feast on Pats backups. They better figure out a plan to handle the rush. Whatever they did against Cleveland didn't work too well.
Giants have 26 sacks as a team. 13 for Burns alone.
This is what worries be about this game, their line gets after the QB with a lot of pressure, sucks being down the entire left side of the offensive line.

Small sample size, but..

That’s what I’m thinking too.

Did you see that catch By Kyle Williams yesterday against that LB?? He almost broke it...one of the easiest 17 yards by a Receiver: KW is getting it.
Funny I thought the exact opposite on that play, I'm going off of memory and the TV stream, but either Henry or Diggs presnap had to scream his name and pull him over as he was lining up on the wrong side of the formation. More evidence IMO he's still struggling with the mental aspect not the physical which makes me wonder why McD isn't giving him easier reads so he can catch a few? On the other hand you can not put someone out there who doesn't even know how to line up 12 weeks in. Frustrating either way.

Famous Jameis can throw his share of picks. Pats will have their opportunities.

Very likely Dart will be cleared by Monday.

I vote for the players on the field to all just wink and dog it on both sides. We need to heal up, and they really don't need to work so hard. It's not like we're undefeated this time. Whattaya say, Gintz?

This is the game I fear the most.

A Giants team, already eliminated from playoff contention, but on prime time national television and with nothing to lose.

This stinks of a Giants upset.
