But the coach is playing for a job, so if the players like him, they'll play hard for him.

I seriously doubt the Giants are going to keep Mike Kafka as their head coach and the players know it. Besides, the Giants are 0-2 since Kafka became head coach.

This is how the Giants have undercut their previous 3 coaching hires.

They force assistants onto them who are inevitably fired.

The next coach must hire his own assistants.

This continuity the Giants are insisting on cannot be allowed to continue there.

Really no reason why the Pats offense shouldn't roll a team with this kind of instability hopefully they can do better than they did against Cincy.

Gimmie Dart, gimmie Jameis, we can win the same way we won against the Bengals. Discipline, avoiding flags, and playing to an organized professionality. It's two sides of the same coin: discipline is more points on the board, but also discipline minimizes the blowback from a mistake. The Giants, while being a team that can randomly get a lot of yards, are too behind the curve to translate that to success. The Patriots have been great at translating most situations into success.

on EEI this morning Boomer speculated that Dart would play against the Pats.

The Giants should do the smart thing and go into tank mode.

I have a feeling Dart will get injured again.

Good thing I quit Gambling: I was thinking Drake Maye would surely have his First 300yds game yesterday. Still a Single game high 294 but even Jameis Winston threw for 365 yesterday. Maye and 300 very elusive??

Our team this year has responded well to things that really failed in the previous game or last couple games. Tackling, turnovers, penalties, etc. So Monday im hoping to see us run the ball better and execute in the red zone. Hopefully no ugly start from maye either ( though i thought he was REALLY good after the pick)

Bowen from the Vrabel coaching tree and did a good job when he was the DC of the Titans under Vrabel. Wonder if he will be the Pats' DC next year or whether he comes on this year as a consultant.

H Henry could have had 150yds receiving yesterday: if Maye didn't air mail that pick 6 to the DB.

Yep, thats why im not too concerned about the wr production yesterday. Him and hooper were open all day. Boutte drew a big pi too.

Passing game was really good after the slow start and really it was just Josh stopping ourselves towards the end

Did you see that catch By Kyle Williams yesterday against that LB?? He almost broke it...one of the easiest 17 yards by a Receiver: KW is getting it.

Yea, like seeing us getting the balll in his hands. I see no reason why he shouldn’t continue returning kicks either. Until he picks up the offense this is a good way for him to build confidence

Nice KR at the end too far cry from that E Chism Rip.

Williams looked very fluid out there yesterday.

That ended up being very instrumental in the win. We got just far enough into fg. We will need plays at kr down the stretch

Interesting thought…. Particularly in light of the Rex Ryan quote I posted earlier (that Bowen sucks). Made me go look at his bio:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_Bowen

Definitely has good roots- connections w Urban Meyer etc.
makes the whole Gints fail-thing hard to explain.
