i'm not smart enough to figure out the broadcast rules, but I live in NYC and hope that somehow the postponement or whatever of the Jets game will enable the broadcasting of the Pats game here. I can hope, can't I?

Use Google Chrome for your web browser.
Then install their (free) Adblock Plus add-on.

You'll have two popups when you first get the game (one in a new tab, one in a second window), but that's it - for the entire game. You can close those right away and won't see another one for the full game.
