Can someone remind me why we didn’t shell out the money for Hicks? Was the money that steep? Did he not want to come back?
Miles better than any of our defensive tackles.
Let’s face it. Patriots WR scouts have struggled to find Brady young talent in the draft, which has caused us to resort to free agency and
That’s what happens when you have a good draft. The patriots haven’t had a good draft in years.
Squealers will find a way to f up. If reasonable healthy we will beat them in reg season.
If they come to Foxboro in the playoffs they will not win.
I’m not afraid of playing the Chargers on the road. It’s essentially a home game playing on that soccer field.

Who got the $ Krafty didn't give Hicks? Slater? Develin? The Navy long snapper?
Pitt just hangs around and finds a way to win. The 1 team that can go to Arrowhead and win is Pittsburgh. Thats how I believe it will go.
They found a way to win because Bortles may legitimately be the worst quarterback in the NFL. If not for him, the Steelers were getting blown out.
The 2 toughest games left are NE and NO. Pitt will definitely fall to NO, but Im not counting my chickens vs NE.

Hicks has been beastly for Chicago. Patriots should have ponied up the cash for him, he would have been absolutely worth it and probably the difference in the Superbowl last year. Ever since Hicks left, there has been a rotation of fail in that NT position.
If only Branch was able to keep it together for another year and not just letting himself go.
In the Lombardi book there is a chapter where he describes the week before the Ravens playoff game in the 14 season and there is a short blurb on Branch. Alan went so hard during practices in that week that he had sweat literally freezing on himself as they were doing reps outside in the elements. Apparently that was quite an inspiring sight for a lot of other players. Unfortunately last year he'd rather be at Panda Express than on the field.

Depends on which Patriots team shows up. If it's the Patriots that played the Titans, we may lose by 2+ touchdowns. If it's the Patriots that played KC with a better showing on the defensive side of the ball, we'll win by 2+ touchdowns.
