Week 11 NFL Games *Bye Week Edition*

Who got the $ Krafty didn't give Hicks? Slater? Develin? The Navy long snapper?

Steelers and Saints super bowl.

Squealers will find a way to f up. If reasonable healthy we will beat them in reg season.
If they come to Foxboro in the playoffs they will not win.

Can someone remind me why we didn’t shell out the money for Hicks? Was the money that steep? Did he not want to come back?

Miles better than any of our defensive tackles.

Belichick didn't want to pay as much as the Bears did, and Hicks wouldn't have recieved the same amount of snaps as he does with Chicago.

Per usual, Belichick low-balls a star defensive lineman and they take their talents to another team. So now we're kicking the tires -- wondering what this defense could've been with guys like Chandler Jones or Hicks still here.

Let’s face it. Patriots WR scouts have struggled to find Brady young talent in the draft, which has caused us to resort to free agency and

That’s what happens when you have a good draft. The patriots haven’t had a good draft in years.

The Saints have been drafting in the low teens every year since 2013 except for 2014 when they used #20 to get Cooks. In that time they had 8 first round picks. That is 100% more than what we had in the same time with most of them coming about 18-20 picks after theirs.

Over the last 8 years they have been as incompetent / great at drafting as most of the other teams including the Patriots, Seahawks or 49ers. Of course if you look at something so inherently volatile as drafting year-to-year you will always be frustrated if another team hits the lottery. But history has shown that nobody can keep that up.

Finally I don't know if anyone made any analysis but I don't see us using free agency any more than before under BB. So am not sure what makes you think we are resorting to anything.. if an opportunity comes around whether it is FA, draft or a trade the team has never been afraid to go for it if the perceived value is there.

Good pass rushing DT's are rare Teams pay for those type of Guys. To say BB didn't want to pay that much for Hicks is Rubbish. I bet he wish he had now. Hicks showed those same things here he's showing now. We have a bunch of useless turds as DT's.

How happy we are that Bell quit...but that still won't be enough we have alot of clowns masquerading as NFL players on D.

I’m not afraid of playing the Chargers on the road. It’s essentially a home game playing on that soccer field.

Even if that's true, would you not still rather have a home game? Gillette > not Gillette.

Pitt just hangs around and finds a way to win. The 1 team that can go to Arrowhead and win is Pittsburgh. Thats how I believe it will go.

The Patriots Airlines plane needed a new paint scheme and carpet.

They found a way to win because Bortles may legitimately be the worst quarterback in the NFL. If not for him, the Steelers were getting blown out.

The 2 toughest games left are NE and NO. Pitt will definitely fall to NO, but Im not counting my chickens vs NE.

Depends on which Patriots team shows up. If it's the Patriots that played the Titans, we may lose by 2+ touchdowns. If it's the Patriots that played KC with a better showing on the defensive side of the ball, we'll win by 2+ touchdowns.

Big game tonight. Yesterday didn’t really go our way but a kc loss tonight and we are suddenly right in reach of the one seed. That would still make this bye week a success imo

Hicks has been beastly for Chicago. Patriots should have ponied up the cash for him, he would have been absolutely worth it and probably the difference in the Superbowl last year. Ever since Hicks left, there has been a rotation of fail in that NT position.

The only way he can operate is under confidence. As soon as he has doubts he starts melting down and as soon the coaching staff has any doubts they are going ultra conservative. Worst possible coaching / QB matchup.

If only Branch was able to keep it together for another year and not just letting himself go.

In the Lombardi book there is a chapter where he describes the week before the Ravens playoff game in the 14 season and there is a short blurb on Branch. Alan went so hard during practices in that week that he had sweat literally freezing on himself as they were doing reps outside in the elements. Apparently that was quite an inspiring sight for a lot of other players. Unfortunately last year he'd rather be at Panda Express than on the field.

Too Emotional and undisciplined.

The Patriots Offense are their only hope of them winning anything...if they come out flat it's over. Good thing they have the AFC Least to feed off. This PAthetic Defense is no Match for that Steelers Offense who have Two Legitimate #1 WR's and a RB not named Bell: BB can't take away everybody. We will be going on Fourth Down quite a bit you can bet on that. And hope that Stephan Gilmore last game was a aberration. That Game against the Steelers will be key to the #2 Seed. The Loser will be playing on Wildcard Weekend.

I think i might watch the game tonight, should be an defensive clown fiesta
