Right now with all things being equal, thee Saints are the best in the NFC, maybe even in the entire NFL . Brees is playing lights out. Not bad for a 38 yr old.

I’m sick of people on here looking at the Jags, and the Lions and the Titans and going “lol look at how they got their asses kicked after making the Pats game their Super Bowl.”

As a rule I subscribe to that school of thought. However after Lewis' comments about ass kicking it's a tad unrealistic to think anything less was headed the Titans way under the circumstances.

Hicks is performing well for Chicago. You could put together a pretty damn good starting defense with all the players BB has cut loose.

His first deal in CHI was 2/10. I think he wanted to play full time and NE wanted to play (and pay) him as one of their rotational guys. Sure do miss him he’s been great there. Wonder if Bill would take a mulligan on that one.

Akiem Hicks is about the only whine about a guy who got away I have any sympathy for, since his initial contract with the Bears wasn't too large. Chandler? No. Collins? No. Butler? Logan Ryan? Dion? No No No. But Hicks we probably could've resigned.
