Week 11 NFL Games *Bye Week Edition*

Who is the saints gm responsible for the past 3 drafts? Absolutely incredible. Pats should offer him top dollar to come to NE

Watching the eagles should cause us to appreciate what the pats have done .

Please stop using such sensible logic...

Wow what a choke by the Chargers.

Wouldn’t be shocked if they keep choking the rest of the way.
Never trust Rivers.

He will bend you over every time.

I think it is more complicated than that. The problem is finding receivers that can grasp the NE playbook. Plenty of very good receivers can thrive if they only have to run a single route on a play ( e.g. run a 9 (go) or a '7" or a "5" or a ten yard out route) but can't grasp what to do in a multi option play changing the play if it's man or zone ( e.g. Ocho cinco or Galloway). Guys (veterans) like Gordon and Amendola can pick it up quickly having been in a similar type offense but it is difficult to tell if a college player will grasp it...
C'mon.

Edelman, Givens and Branch are the only guys on Earth that can grasp the playbook?

That's a very big part of the point, injuries are part and parcel of the marathon. Both getting guys back and/or losing them. There a crap ton of football left to play. Payton and Brees should also dope slap dope slap Loomis et al for the years he wasted through inept cap management.
Injuries are what any team that comes out of the AFC to potentially play them should hope for. That includes New England. If the two teams play one another totally healthy, the Patriots would get clapped.

Anyone see the comps between Smith and Theisman? Some eeeery stuff there.

That was a terrible loss by the Chargers today. You have a chance to keep pace with the Chiefs but drop a game at home against the Broncos?

They do this s**t every year - always finding a way to choke. I’ve said this a few times on here and got criticized for criticizing Rivers but he is a loser and overrated. He has ONE playoff win in 10 years. He’s made the playoffs 3 times in the last 10 years.

Be careful with the term 'top dollar' around Mickey Loomis. As a GM he's pissed away a big chunk of Brees career with horrific cap management. ($102M in dead money over the past 3 years alone)

Titans blow us out and then gets demolished by the colts. Sometimes I think we over think the game plan.

I don't understand some of the opinions posted here.

The Patriots are one of the top teams in the league.

They've beaten three current divisional leaders, (Houston, KC, Chicago) and two undefeated teams (KC and Miami).

They held Buffalo to six points and shutdown the Great Aaron Rodgers "who once threw a pass that no other QB in NFL history could throw".

They lose to the Titans with a decimated Oline, without Gronk, lose Allen and Brown during the game and now they're Jags?

Sorry to break some of your hearts but the Pats are one of the best teams in the league again.

When they’re both healthy, they aren’t better than the Saints. That’s what happens when your young talent not only stays healthy and contributes, but they become starters. Pats fans should know this after seeing how our 2010 class propelled us forward.

Why is holding Buffalo to 6 points some sort of an achievement?

Nobody took Miami seriously so they don’t count.

Packers aren’t very good and their organization is dysfunctional.

The Pats can’t have a flat game at the Jets as they play down to them at times in NY. They can’t afford to drop one game before they play the Steelers.

We’ll know how good the Pats really are in the next 4 weeks.

Very odd game Denver vs San Diego. Vance Joseph is an utter MORON...an extremely STUPID, UNQUALIFIED head coach. No doubt one of Crimedell's little pet boy head coaches, Denver draws the Criminaldell O.C. representative ref crew of Pete Morelli, who proceeds to call FOURTEEN penalties for 120 yards on the HOME team, San Diego as opposed to half that, 7, for a mere 43 on the Broncos. Denver intercepted two Rivers passes because of blatant P.I.. No calls from Fredo Morelli.

and you think this league is on the up and up?
