The Patriots never had back to back 1-3 starts when Tom Brady was quarterback...did they???
They had plenty of 2-2 starts (and none with Matt Patricia as "OC")... They usually don't end the season after 4 games anyway.
Also, the Patriots were not that great in 2002 (Brady's second year as a starter), and he had one of his worst starts ever (arguably his worst), the first game of the following year, his third as a starter.

Jimmy G is 41-17 as a starter. Crazy.

I think hes been very fortunate such that hes been on good teams which do not require him to perform like a franchise QB.
That is crazy. Mac already has 17 losses.

Wasn't that impressed with Jimmy G yesterday, but he got the job done.

He actually started out 3-0 in 2002 and the media was already predicting they'd go back to the Super Bowl. It was after he went on a 4 game skid.

So the Patriots had so much confidence in their number one offseason acquisition on offense, that he wasn't even on the field for the do or die fourth down play. this is a complete failure, once again, of evaluating offensive talent. because this team has none at the present time

JFC, there is a massive difference between 2-2 And 1-3...

We didn't 'dump' him. We were the ones who took him as an UDFA and paid him for four years, including an RFA tender. We coached him up and we played him a lot. When he hit the market as a FA, he got a strong offer from McDaniels and da Raiders and took it.

Oh, and he got a dumb-ass taunting penalty during yesterday's game.
We didn't make him an offer when he became a FA. Watch JuJu get injured and be out for the season.

I don't know off the top of my head troll, but in case you didn't notice the team has only played ONE game. So their Not 1-3
they were 1-3 last year and 1-3 the year before....or were you not paying attention? Too busy worshipping Bill the 25-27 coach over the last 4 seasons (including this year)?

The problem with analytics is that the analytics are only as good as the assumptions that go into creating the model. The "analytics" may not factor in the quality of the defense for both teams, momentum, weather (wind direction relative to field goal attempts), injuries, quality of the offense etc.
I think these analytics are basically BS and should be taken with a grain of salt.
The morons who quote the analytics want the consumer to think they are the gospel truth and they are not.
Statistics can tell you anything you want if you torture them enough.

Yep, exactly one game ... Although if someone is a thumb sucker who prefers the fetal position, it could be considered massive.

Not trying to be too reactionary but after last night’s game (the injury plus buffalo’s performance) coupled with our performance against philly Id be lying if I said my outlook on our season hasn’t improved a bit.

Still not expecting to contend for a sb but 10 win’s seems alot more attainable. Just gotta see our d continue its play and the ol not fall apart.

one game, the difference between making the playoffs and not making the playoffs last year. One game, the difference between hosting the AFC championship game in 2015. 2015. One game, the difference between making the playoffs and not making the playoffs in 2008....I could go on

We know you could. At the end of the day, it's an out of conference, out of division loss. Its not the end of the world.

Go on tell us about 2008, we are all dying to hear it. Tell us about that one game difference where Bill really ****ed up that season. **** off loser.
