It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Ok, because I was listening to the show Tuesday, and he mentioned he was leaving on his own to do baseball ironically on the station! So he made it appear as if he was leaving on his own.
I APOLOGIZE 1000 TIMES DAKOTA!!!!I liked Ted Sarandis in the evening slot back in the day. It’s a Teeeeeed Nation lol
Yes, your right. I was just eluding to the fact that he said in his own words that he'd be doing baseball with the station wich is ironic, as his contract wasn't renewed. Yes, I did hear that segment on what Christian mentioned. Seems like there was turnover at 98.5 as well. You must have misunderstood. He said that leaving was not his choice, but that he has always wanted to call games and will get the chance to do some of that this year.
And, today, Fauria went pretty close to the line of calling out management (but did not cross it) over Merloni not being re-signed.
With his Bart Starr referencesI never liked Ted, never want to hear him on local radio again.
Pompous know everything.
The Big Show was my favorite of the 2 stations, the Whiner Line was hilarious at times.
Now I bounce back and forth when I'm on the road.

This is bizarre:
Audacy announces series of programming updates for WEEI in Boston
Audacy has announced that Christian Fauria will move to WEEI’s midday show, Rich Keefe will transition to host nights, and Lou Merloni will depart the afternoon show and join the station’s coverage of the Boston Red Sox.www.audacy.com
So they're leaving Ottolini and Arcand alone in the afternoon slot, which means - or should mean - they're hiring someone else...? Definitely strange news.
I could but i detoxed about a dozen years agoThank god I don’t listen to Boston sports radio drivel
How did your treatment work? Are you overcome by waves of debilitating nausea when you hear sports radio now?I could but i detoxed about a dozen years ago
I'm fine i don't even think about tuning in anymore. i still have a minor negative reaction when i hear or see something referencing We**How did your treatment work? Are you overcome by waves of debilitating nausea when you hear sports radio now?
It really doesn't matter. Calling the Sox games is Merloni's dream job. And if he's any good, at all, he'll get the full time Job in a couple of years when Joe C retires. I'm sure he'll get a livable salary for working 80 days next year AND not have to deal with the daily grind of a 4 hour talk show and have to talk about things he doesn't know about and be forced to take positions he doesn't care about.Merloni didn't leave on his own, he was told they weren't renewing his contract.
I believe it gets better - I had heard somewhere that Adam Jones is headed to WEEI, and I believe was going to drive time. I wasn’t a huge fan of him there, so I don’t see how that changes now.WEEI deserves congratulations. I didn't think it was possible that they'd find a way to drive me off of their station, given that the only sports alternative is the abomination that is 98.5 But pairing Gresch and Fauria, and giving the afternoon drive slot to Meg-O and Arkand has done just that.
So my mid day listening will exclusively be 98.5 with Zo & Co., and my afternoons are now going to be free outside of a few guest times (i.e. Bedard's Tuesday appearances on 98.5).
Congratulations WEEI for completely screwing the pooch!
