somebody sell me on Jerry Hughes, ok he had like 11 sacks but honestly, English was a better prospect coming out last year and they seem similar to me. Neither played against top competiton and both put up big numbers against lesser teams (5 of Hughes 11 sacks came against texas state and colorado state) both are undersized at about 6'1 for Hughes. Why Jerry Hughes over Sergio Kindle? I was impressed with Kindle against the Bama Oline but the Boise Oline shut Hughes down.

Kindle isnt the pass rusher Hughes is, according to many scouts and as evidenced by past performance. Check out this scouting report on Kindle.

I'd vvote Lane becuase no-one really stands out - there all prospects

Also if we could get him in the 2nd that frees up other picks for the needs we have on the OL/DL

In complete agreement on this. Hughes is probably the better prospect for the position but does anyone think BB is going to use his top pick at this position? Maybe, but prob. not since there are potentially huge needs at OL and TE. I have read several places that the top pick will go to either RG (Iupati) or TE (Jermaine Gresham) but who knows? So often BB does something no one expected in the draft.
