We needed this loss!

Yeah we needed to lose control of home field advantage and put a possible bye week at risk.

We lost last week, we didn't need this at all, we needed to win.

A loss can indeed be useful when perceiving the wider battlefield, but not in this case. There was no reason for this loss, plain and simple. When we're vying for the #1 seed, and have somewhat of a cupcake team at home, our team should be able to put them away, even with the JV receiving corps.

Gronk has to come back and play. I don't give a crap if he isn't 100%. No one is 100% on this team and they're still grinding away. There's a point where you have to suck it up for your team. If he won't play because of his family that's bs.

No he doesn't, if he comes back and makes his knee worse and is out for the playoffs this team is done.

We needed this loss!

Remember last year after the KC game?

I am sure we will come back next week and play harder than ever and stop making this stupid mistakes on both ends of the field.

This must be you with a statement like that.

First it was stupid to play without a brace. Second, I thought it was just a bone bruise?

Lastly, the TEAM is done without Gronk. Today is just the nail in the coffin. This team cannot win like this. The injuries could be diminished with Gronk and get us into a bye. Without him it's over.

No we didn't. This game was a monstrosity up till 5 minutes left. Giving up 35 straight points was disgraceful.

Gronk needs to get his ass back when he is good to play. Otherwise it might not matter having him 100% if we find ourselves playing on wild card weekend.

For crying out loud. I'm pissed about this game and feel like there is no excuse for losing even with the injuries, but some of the depths to which people go that either think the world is ending or that mysteriously somehow this is the best thing that could happen is mindboggling to me. Does one really have to remind you nitwits that we have been watching BB and Brady for 15 years now?

We are on to Houston. Next question.

Think I may have missed something... please explain?

If we needed a loss, the Denver game was it. This one? Not so much.

Do we need another loss next week too? Or is 2 in a row what you need?

This is one of those losses that either has us circling the wagons or circling the drain. I like their chances.

This was a terrible loss even worse than losing to Denver. Philly was just blown out the building on thanksgiving and they basically punked our oline, special teams, and coaching staff for most of the game. No excuses. This is a terrible loss especially go a mediocre team at HOME.

We actually needed this WIN.... very badly

I wanted this win too, but I think the team will finally get their **** together.
Also we need to stop with the deep balls to LaFell, he gives up way too often!

We more than had our **** together when we were 8-0 and had lost no bodies yet... It is not about having our **** together. It seems like sometimes people think the laundry is all we need. We have lost too many players to compete with the best. Hell we had Gronk last week in the Denver loss. This is just not the same great team from earlier in the year. We went from a slam dunk SB team to "we still have a chance". It just is what it is and it sucks. I hope we still do it.

Yeah, let's just say this after every loss. I hope we lose the Super Bowl this year that way next Super Bowl they play harder. Losing is good, really builds morale.

In fact, if we lose every game the rest of the season they'll play that much harder in the playoffs.

Disagree, I rather have Gronk comeback in 2 weeks instead of a week and be injured for the rest of the season.
