It doesn't invalidate the claim...I just think it could have been done at the moment(s) you saw it happen.

You better get used to it becasue the "chicken little" talk has been going on for as long as I've been here. I honestly wish they could ban that phrase cause it's so damn stupid. These homers act like you can't criticize anything about the team even when there are legitimate concerns. Some of them still will not admit the defense played poorly tonight when 98% of the rest of us can see it.

It's better to just ignore it and continue on.

There is constructive criticism and then there is the chicken little kneejerk **** where every completion allowed is catastrophic and every play that doesn't work is McD's fault.

The vaunted, elite Seahawks defense gave up 6/10 3rd downs while the aweful, overrated Pats defense gave up 6/12. And yet all I hear is doom and gloom about ours.

We've seen what happens ( SB 48, 50) when a great offense meets a great D. Now, the Patriots were a few inches away from scoring 31 on the legion of boom. My point is what happens if Brady has a pedestrian playoff game? Can the D come through? They've gotta get it fixed. Maybe it won't be as big of a problem ( If it is....panic time...) against these next three quarterbacks. However, in January your defense needs to be able to win a game for you.

Note: I am not calling anybody out and this thread isn't directed at any one person. I am a Patriots fan and we have a 7-2 team. The world isn't falling and most teams would LOVE to be 7-2 and that's a fact!

Though, we need to allow negativity to happen. Its natural and apart of ever medium including anime, videogames and sports. I understand being against posts that claim the sky is falling because to be honest we are going to win this division and are heavy playoff threats. We aren't a 1 and done team, but we are not without flaws and as a fanbase we should be allowed to express our distaste for a loss and express what Brady did wrong and what this team is doing wrong. I'm no Pats forum veteran and most of you have been fans longer than me, but we aren't robots. We are the best fans in the world who are human. Go Pats!

The Gameday thread is made for kneejerk reactions. You are the one who doesn't get it. Its meant for immediate reactions to what people are seeing in real time. I dont give a **** about Seattle's Defense. I'm worried about our own. Not sure why you are even bringing them up when I didn't mention them at all.

The constructive criticism comes after the game is over in the post game thread. If you find people there shouting the season is over and everyone needs to be traded or fired by all means call them out. But I guarantee you will be hard pressed to find more than 1 or 2 people who says such things after they've had time to calm down.

That's the way this board has always worked and I dont know why people act like this is brand new every week. Some people can handle the reactions and others can't. If you can't then stop going into the Gameday thread cause all you're doing is making it worse and more polluted by telling people to shut up, change teams and calling them chicken littles when they have a negative reaction to bad play.
