More detail please (not on gay porn). Yahoo sports is showing the game in my area so I'm good for today, but want to be able to watch future games. At this point there's probably some gay porn out there with me in it so no I don't feely very compelled to use a VPN for that.
You can watch games/Redzone live if your VPN makes it look like you're in another country.
DirecTV is very busy, it must be because of Football today. Long wait times. They are suggesting to call back at night. I will wait until Tuesday night, no football. I will see if I can get someone to take me to a sports bar that has the NFL package from DirecTV. Not many bars signed up this year, too expensive for only a few customers, they say.Thank you very much. I am calling tomorrow morning. I will report the response. Thanks again
You're spoofing the IP using the VPN, but I'm pretty sure you need International Gamepass. That said, I would think you could spoof the IP to a New England server and the game would be then "local" and viewable on regular gamepass as well. Basically, you just set the VPN to show your origination server as the locale in which you want it (could use Florida or Alabama today as well - they too are getting the Pats game)I have Surfshark VPN. So you purchase Gamepass? What else.
I tried doing that with Yahoo Sports. Listing locations on my phone where games (preseason) wouldn't be out of market. It didn't work. Not sure if YS has a way of detecting your actual GPS location but Surfshark has a way to mock your phone GPS location and it still didn't work. So I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. You're spoofing the IP using the VPN, but I'm pretty sure you need International Gamepass. Spoofing to NE usually works but the NFL also looks for those blocks of IP’s that are VPN so try multiple IP’s / servers if your getting blocked. You're spoofing the IP using the VPN, but I'm pretty sure you need International Gamepass. I'm the same - can work out most issues but when it gets too technical I'm out. Which is the ultimate irony given my last job...that I'm not allowed to talk about other than it was network defense stuff.I tried doing that with Yahoo Sports. Obviously Gamepass may be totally different. Do you need to install vpn on your router maybe?
I know how to use computers but when it comes to networking, vpn and such, I know enough to make me dangerous. I'm good for today since it's both on local station + YS. Thanks
I just turned my VPN on and let it pick fastest server (HOU). Now all games in the HOU market show as "coming up live" on Yahoo Sports. I guess it is working because now I don't have the Pats game, lol.I'm the same - can work out most issues but when it gets too technical I'm out. I just tried to watch live on my game pass and it’s not allowed saying game is in market and not available. Only allows live audio.I've been watching all games on gamepass for years and they're live (maybe a few seconds later than broadcast). It's the easiest thing in my opinion since you can watch on your browser from any computer, or on their app from any other device (including smart tvs).
I get international gamepass and VPN into a European country, then stream it to my TV. That way you don't get local game blackouts in case you don't have cableHere I am in Northern Virginia and it looks like tomorrow’s opener isn’t available on local TV. Right now I basically use streaming services and no longer have regular cable. Short of installing DirectTV (which I’m not willing to do) I am willing to pay whatever it takes to watch the game legally and reliably. But I can’t figure out how to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Going to a bar is not an option — I’ve got kids to watch. Thanks for your suggestions.
