Wait so Rivers is Questionable and LT is expected to play?

Why weren't they playing last week then?

LT was standing on the sidelines and looked fine.

It was the last game of the damn year. 90 times out of 100 they lose that game. They got lucky to beat the Colts. How the hell can those 2 stand on the sidelines in a playoff game when they are losing in the 4th quarter? You have all offseason to rehab your "injuries"

And where the hell does LT get off giving Phillip Rivers crap on the sideline for not coming back in? LT didn't even attempt to play, didn't look like he even wanted to play or cared. At one point in the 4th quarter he was smiling and laughing.

There is no reason those 2 shouldn't have been out there this last game. And the news of these injuries proves this. Take a shot, do whatever you have to do and go play.
You gotta be kidding me.

*Sigh*
Are you for real with this? Rivers has a strained MCL (yes, that would be 2 bum legs). LT has a hyperextended knee. Volek was in the middle of a drive and playing well. Just because Rivers was walking on the sideline, doesnt mean he's ok to play with two bad legs. Sproles and M. Turner were running the ball very effectively. So, tell me....why exactly would LT and Rivers come back in the game having leg injuries? Why would they risk further injury and who knows what else (and disrupt the groove the backups were having) by coming back into the game? Oh and LT was giving Rivers crap for not playing?? Do some research. He was pissed because the coaching staff and trainers told Rivers he wasnt going back in. Yeah, Rivers isnt a gamer. That shows just how little you know about the guy. Utter nonsense.

All this talk about how L.T and Rivers should of played hurt in the Indy game does not make any sense. Rivers did not get hurt until late in the game, and Billy Volek took the team down the field and scored a TD. The Colts were by no means doing any better because L.T and Rivers were on the bench, so what good would it of done to risk further injury by putting them back on the field. They were thinking ahead to this weeks game with the patriots. If Volek started to make a lot of mistakes, Rivers would of been back in the game real fast, same thing with L.T if the colts would of regained the lead by about 10 points. Michael Turner and Darren Sproles were doing a good job running the ball, and Rivers already had a knee injury to the left leg.

You inspired me to look to scripture for more guidance on Rivers and leg injuries. Discuss:

Isaiah 47:1-6
Remove your veil, strip off the skirt, Uncover the leg, cross the Rivers.

Jets 47:1-6
Go to Stairwell D, Remove your bra, Lift thy Shirt , Uncover the breast.

Really curious about one thing: Why did Norv give his players two days off, knowing it's a short week with the travel day? The Chargers now essentially have three days of practice for the biggest game of their lives. Doesn't seem to make sense. Also, what's the word out there about the true seriousness of those injuries and whether Rivers and LT can play?

You start one thread talking about how serious Rivers' injury is/could be, then another thread that he should have played with the injury. Makes alot of sense.

LT: hyperextended knee, he will play. Rivers: sprained MCL, questionable, but Im sure he'll play. Rivers' injury is more serious and now that he has two bad legs, that doesnt help his return.

Any chance Billy Volek starts the game ??. probably to early to tell right now.

Ok, did you actually read the entire thread about Phillip's knee injury?

if so, i feel very very sorry for you.

Maybe God have mercy on your soul.

According to Will Allen, the injury guru, his sources which are usually impecable about these things, Phillip lied through his teeth in his PC. He was told by a SD employee that Rivers and Classy were discussing his return and Phillip said I'm already limping, what do you want from me. It was not a coaching decision, but the players decision not to return to the game. In SD the staff are more concerned about his heart than his health...

Maybe it shows how little you know about the guy....

Memories of Joe Namath trying to play football with the knees of an 80 year old and fifteen extra pounds of metal braces.

I'd say if we're gonna see Classless it will be at the start. If things don't go well for him, that knee will start screeching and Volek will come in. No way we see the reverse of that. If Volek starts it will be on him...and a coaches decision...

Yeah, Rivers just hates to play. LOL! But nevermind, I'll go with your injury "guru" and this unknown SD "employee".....whatever that is. Trust me, nobody is the slightest bit concerned about Rivers' heart.

Classless to some, just plain Classy to others, will in all likelyhood start the game, unless that knee takes a turn for the worse. I do see Volek palying a fair amount of time either way.

Will Allen is about the most connected guy in sports and his specialty is assessing injuries from both a medical and situational standpoint.
But that's OK, the shades are so dark in suny, classy SD your fanbase is among the least informed in the league. By choice, though. Trust me, you know NOTHING but what you think you know now that your team is back in it...you're all a bunch of classy, fairweather frontrunners.

I heard LT will probably play, it all depends if he gets his period or not.

Will Carroll . . .

Wrong. LT went in for 2 more plays after his injury.

In an interview, LT said he asked if Rivers was going back in who said "no". He said he was frustrated that not only was he out, but Rivers was now out, not to mention Gates already being hurt. He was frustrated at the situation, not at Rivers.

Do you really believe everything see you at first sight? If so, I've got some beach front property....you know how it goes.

Get your facts straight.

Who the heck is Will Allen, smart guy?? You're spouting off about someone and you dont even know his name. LOL! And THEN, you say how uninformed OUR fanbase is?? Comical! You're a joke.
