I’m sure that it’s a combination, but even when Michel gets off the block he still looks to have lost some burst. I think his knee situation is affecting his poor play. He looked much more explosive last season.

They are going to have to get White the ball in space, free up Edelman by design and quick passes (which is what they do every single game), and try and take advantage of the Cowboys on the ground, where they’re giving up 4.2 YPC. As another poster mentioned, the loss of Leighton Vander Esch will benefit us.

Where is the N'Keal Harry ankle injury from ? Did you just confuse him for Sanu ?

Harry is not on the injury report as far as I can tell.

Respect Supa, but the Pats haven't shown they can consistently give anyone trouble with the ground game. They have done it in spots, but it's nothing that truly should inspire confidence at this point. The offense this year rests on Brady and the receivers, until or unless the OL somehow gels. Wynn playing will be great, but he won't solve all of the OL deficiencies.

I’m just pointing out an area where they will try and take advantage. Having Wynn back isn’t going to solve everything, but it also means that the line will look like this, and that should be good enough for improvement :

    Wynn-Thuney-Karras-Mason-Cannon

Yeah, they’re a passing team now, but common sense says that they’re going to try and get the RBs going like they did last year. Also, there’s no way that they’re going to rely on Harry and Meyers alone.

I will say, there's definitely an area of running performance between what we've been getting this year, and what we got at the end of last year. We don't necessarily need the running game to be as dominant as it was down the stretch in 2018 (it would be lovely, of course), but if it can be somewhere halfway between, it will set up shorter 3rd downs and vastly improve the play-action. I think that's what we should be hoping for: Enough improvement that teams have to think about it. Anything beyond that might be a fool's hope for the rest of this year.

Beddard said that Mason looked closer to his old self on Sunday. That with the addition to LaCrosse and Wynne, we may see a better running game. Additionally, Harry is a beast of a blocker.

It's games like these we really learn the value of BB. Seems like everytime we go into a game with no options Belichick proves us wrong and we dominate. Let's hope for more off the same here.

If you run post when you’re supposed to run fade, you can’t get hit and hence can’t get injured.

He usually does that with his GM hate on. Late season Blount addition, or Van Noy, tried it with Bennett coming back from GB etc et. Let’s see if he pulls a rABbit out of his hate this time.

It’s all relative. Gordon is undeniably better and more productive than Meyrs, Harry, and Gunner and wasn’t costing us anything. I don’t see how releasing him improved the team.

He made some sick catches in that tight Bills game to keep us alive.
