Is Marrione a good oline coach?
Look at his coaching history - we came up as an OL coach and worked his way to head coach. After being a HC, he went back to being an OL coach.

Great person. Loves the trenches. Has the experience of being a HC because he sees the big picture. Great news if true.

I think the point to keep in mind is that, at minimum, he will at least be a solid B or B+ OL Coach, which is a massive upgrade over what they’ve had in that role the last several years.

Also adds a 3rd person with NFL HC experience to the staff (Vrabel, McDaniels, Marrone).

I totally forgot he was HC of that 2017 Jags team that took us to the limit in the AFCCG.

Great hire.

But... the reason why he bounces around and can't seem to elevate is that he is not a great person. I think of him as the biggest curmudgeon in football. He makes Belichick look like Mr. Rogers. He makes Bill Parcells look like Robin Williams.

Give him a gummy and hes fine...

As long as he coaches up the unit.

He also did some training camps with NFL teams via the Bill Walsh Fellowship, including Vrabel’s Titans in 2023.

Hah yeah sort of. He's not hired yet but seems like that's in the works.

I do somewhat like Brown, he's not great right now but seems like he has some talent. Good to have on staff. If he gets hired away to be someone else's OC then you'd get comp picks in return. Same for Ashton Grant in the QB Coach role.

Love Marrone hire. I think former head coaches bring a lot to the table. OL coach is almost as important as any of the coordinator jobs and we've really struggled to find a guy there.

Also for Kraft is cheap crowd, he couldn't have been cheap.
