VIDEO: Remembering Tedy Bruschi's Football Comeback Following Stroke

I was just thinking about this the other day and how amazing it was he was even able to play again.

As Bruschi said, when you think stroke, you don’t think you’ll ever be the same again. He had 3 really good seasons after that and was able to help the Pats go 16-0 in 2007.

Watching him on ESPN, you’d never believe he had a mild stroke.

Teddy Bruschi may be the best name ever for a Boston sports team.

Remember the brouhaha on local sportstalk radio, Callahan in particular, who severely criticized #54 for even attempting a comeback...

Tedy is an inspirational role model for any victim of any type of stroke..

Queue the discussion about the wish for Tedy to be a coach of the NEP, some figure that it is better for Tedy to give up his very cushy day job to work 16 hours a day for the Patriots..

I remember ESPN started charting "hits" in that game...and Bruschi had a lot of them....

Quiet possibly my most favorite Patriot ever....along with Troy Brown and Kevin Faulk....Roman Phifer.....hmmm...hmmm....

You nailed it.

My Favs, in order. Bruschi, Faulk, Brown.

I know Brown should be 1st, but Bruschi and Faulk won me over.

I wear my Bruschi jersey every time I watch a Pats game.

If things get real ugly, I'll break out my Faulk. :)

Guys like Tedy don't come around often...

We've been lucky to have Nick Buoniconti, Julius Adams, and Tom Brady.

i was there that game - it was my first game @ Foxboro

sunday night...tailgate out from the stadium

finally i was there and what a coincidence: grande Tedy...

Troy Brown always has been and always will be my favorite. But I could easily put Bruschi next, he is such a badass.

Someone has to post this ...
