I'd argue that the league was financially interested in breaking up the Patriots dominance to invite new market loyalty in a time that was seeing surging viewership. Just a different time.
This should be a massive scandal. Every play can have a penalty if you look hard enough for one so the league can easily do this to any game. The question is why did it happen here? Was it to favor the Chrefs to clear the way for Taylor and her team to make playoffs? Or was it to protect their gambling partners from taking a beating on the Goff TD? Or both? Also does this explain the two awful OPI calls that took away a score and over 110 yards passing from Maye on Sunday? Did the league call that in too?2.9M views · 48K reactions | The “Biggest Scandal” the NFL has ever had? “The NFL in NY picked up the phone, buzzed into the officiating crew, and told them overturn the touchdown…” - Craig Carton #NFL #Chiefs #Lions | The Craig Carton Show

If this can happen I'm not betting on NFL games for a while.
Good point... maybe that's the only bet to make.Bet on KC going to the Super bowl and winning.
They are already so loaded at WR and have the Refs in their pocket.
It was a live ball foul which provides an excuse for there not being a flag. Also doesn't matter whether the play was legal or not.
345 Park Avenue calling down to the refs to "review" a non reviewable call and throw a flag - then the refs lying about it trying to protect the shield- that's shady and dirty AF and there needs to be an investigation here. Massive scandal if true.
I would not bet against them the way the AFC looks.Good point... maybe that's the only bet to make.
I wouldn't trust the Chargers to beat anyone in January but with them being a division rival and regularly playing close games against them they may be the most likely team to knock them off, it would be so Chargers to beat the Chiefs in the wildcard round then go and lay an egg the next week.I would not bet against them the way the AFC looks.
The 2 teams that everyone thought could take KC out - Buffalo and Baltimore are rift with issues.
Loaded with players who couldn't play for **** in NE.Bet on KC going to the Super bowl and winning.

Queefs hurried to the line and snapped the ball before Detroit could challenge on that play i think? Detroit should be the ones faulted for being slowFact
