Nah. I even missed on Brady a bit over Bledsoe. Bledsoe had a cannon but then I started seeing the ball security aspect of TB’s game that won me over. I see a bit of this with Stidham.

Big picture thing is we only see Stidham or Hoyer if TB gets hurt big time. If that happens it doesn’t really matter a whole lot. You get what you can.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

There are forum members who are openly wondering about the risk/reward of Hoyer vs. a different use of a roster spot (OL depth, for example). But I haven't seen a post that anoints Stidham as better than Hoyer at this point.

Check 3 or 4 pages back, they exist.

What you guys championing Stidham have to remember is that everything in the preseason is vanilla. He has not shown he can read coverages and get the ball out quickly, simply because you can't show that in the preseason because nobody runs their actual defense. And the Pats aren't running their actual offense, either.

I don't think anyone here thinks Hoyer is a great QB or anything, but he's a backup who you know can start a game and get the job done. That's worth a roster spot.

Stidham has a hard time with seeing the whole field and reading a defense. Often a fatal uncorrectable flaw. But at times he looks promising.

If crossen is such a good gunner maybe they save money and cut slater.
