You mean Berrios? He was brought here as a developing slot prospect. At 5’9,” it’s virtually impossible for him to take over Mitchell’s role.

The truth about Mitchell may not be seen until training camp. Although he was initially out there on Monday, he wasn’t there on Tuesday or Wednesday, and I’m not sure if he returned at all last week or not. Considering the fact that Edelman tore his ACL and contributed much more in drills than Mitchell did last week pretty much tells you all you need to know about Mitchell not yet being over the hump with his injury battle. Hopefully, that changes over the course of the summer.

Of course Berrios wouldn't be taking Mitchell's role; it'd be more likely that he'd take some of Minitron's inside routes so Edelman could run more outside routes.
