It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I’m concerned about Wilkins foot, I. suspect he’ll realize he needs surgery on it afterall. But if healthy this would be a ridiculously good pickup. It would be less about a position of need and more about vastly improving the front. No shade on Tonga but two beasts in the middle with Barmore and Wilkins would be better than one.I'm sure PatsFans will have a conversation about him as well. We could use another DL. We have little quality depth. Just 3 sure things if you count White, right?
OT: Not Patriots-related, but funny nonetheless:
I posted this yesterday, it’s definitely worth looking into. Even if he had to go on IR, if u could sign him on the cheap, it would. E a great move. Sounds like a messy situation tho either way the Raiders and NFLPA.I’m concerned about Wilkins foot, I. suspect he’ll realize he needs surgery on it afterall. Really hoping this class Trumps them no pun. What a horrible draft class in 2024. If not for maye, it beats the crap out of 2019 draft class...the nkeal Harry class ...
2019 followed by 2024 followed by 2022 on hopeless draft classes.
Never said a team would trade for him... I said i think he might have asked to be traded ... along with that comes the possibility of him asking for his release...I believe Polk has 2.2M cap hit this year. Why would a team trade for him?
My Pipe Dream is the commanders have some interest and Polk and a third brings scary Terry.Never said a team would trade for him... I said i think he might have asked to be traded ... along with that comes the possibility of him asking for his release...
there is a difference between the two.
Why would a team trade for him? because there is always someone that thinks "I can fix him"... hell we got a 7th for N'keal Harry...
a trade would benefit us more than an outright release... we would save 1.2m (salary), with only 970k (bonus) in dead money this year... and if a team does want to secure his services because they think the can "fix him", they get the opportunity to retain his services without competition and we might just pick up a late round chip...
the longer he lingers here, the less likely it is to happen though.
Vrabes did say up tempo tomorrow... no fans, no media... just work...Not a lot coming out from down there thus far. I'm assuming due to the fact it's a walkthrough.
I agree that a team could trade for him based on talent. I’m sure there where plenty of teams that had a 2nd rd grade on him, and early rd picks always get a longer leash, and you are correct, always a GM or coach that think their tutelage will unlock his potential . I was more talking about the financial piece. Right now he’s worth league minimum at best. If Chism continues to impress, I would trade Polk for a jug of Gatorade.Never said a team would trade for him... He chose the right day to take it easy.Vrabes did say up tempo tomorrow... no fans, no media... just work...
would that I could be a fly on the wall for that one...
I think he got his money and his heart is not in football. Talked a massive game only to be the literal worst WR in entire league as a rookie and he can't handle all the blowback on social media and elsewhere. Only a matter of time until he's cut.
Holding in? With what leverage. Not a chance
Ja’Lynn Polk Inactive for a Walkthrough you can't make these things up.
he appears to be mentally weak. I don’t think he has a mental illness, just no dog in him.I think there's something wrong with him mentally.
After seeing K Williams and E Chism: I bet Polk's confidence is flat lined. Of course there wasn't much there to begin with.I think there's something wrong with him mentally.
I like it... Reaching for the Stars! with that oneI would trade Polk for a jug of Gatorade.
