Is OL Coach Doug Marrone doing a Scar with D Jacobs?? It's said Jacobs have very long arms and more thank looks the part. Is Marrone the OL Coach that puts him over the Top. Jacobs seem well ahead of the overdrafted Caedan Wallace; I don't know how i feel about that.

I like that Drake is getting the ball out fast. Means he’s seeing the field well, reading defenses and distributing the ball like a point guard, give the ball to your playmakers.

It is a positive but I also I wouldn't read too much into it. It could also mean they are limiting his progressions to 1-2 looks and also staying on a particular side of the field. They did the same thing with Mac his rookie year.

At this point Josh is just trying to figure out what he knows/doesn't know and build his confidence

Hey, nothing wrong with just taking short throws against different blitzes. In fact, this is exactly what a 2nd year QB should be working on. That’s one of the things Mac couldn’t do in year 2 which led to his downfall.

Yeah, no pads = nothing for the offensive linemen to get their hands on to redirect them. Tough to make a real judgment that way.
