I said a 5th AND a 6th or a 3rd next year. If you choose to believe Reiss then you must think BB committed a huge mistake. I disagree.
It takes two to tango; maybe NO wasn't willing to offer that. They might view that in this year's very deep draft, there isn't much difference in talent level between the 4th and 6th rounds and therefore would rather have two picks in the 5th and 6th than just one in the 4th. And they might not want to trade a future pick in a higher round; remember that the Collins trade was for a 3rd round comp pick this year or if it didn't exist, a 4th rounder next year -- not a 3rd rounder next year.
