This is why he was not a big part of OTAs this offseason. She wanted him to spend more time with his family and he agreed in order to be able to play without having an unhappy wife.Tom Brady negotiated with Gisele to play at least 2 more years...

You mean to tell me there wasn't ONE QB from this draft worthy to be chosen in the first 4 rounds. Don't be surprised if the best QB to come out of this draft, was chosen in round 3 or 4. I just find it very bizarre. Some of these QBs, the Pats spent A LOT of time with, and some have what the Pats look for (quick release, intelligence, toughness, accuracy). Why would you take a QB you don’t feel can be as good as you need just because people call a draft deep.
All that means is there are a lot of guys people have different opinions about as longshots.

Obviously the fact that none were chosen supports your theory, but it doesn't mean it will wind up being the right decision. They could have had a QB one year into the process of being a Patriot's QB (and hopeful Brady replacement), as opposed to a high drafted rookie in 2019. Etling isn't that guy.
I mean to tell you that Bill Belichick felt there wasn’t. At least not when they were available. Spending time with them and that resulting in a high rating of them are not the same thing. You mean to tell me there wasn't ONE QB from this draft worthy to be chosen in the first 4 rounds. Personally, I think we (Patriots fans) will evaluate the Patriots QB decisions in the draft based almost entirely on Jackson's NFL career.
probably totally ignoring whether he was a fit for our offense
Well if we drafted him we would have had to totally change our offense when it was his time to play.probably totally ignoring whether he was a fit for our offense
I think Tom’s just screwing with us at this point
Brady could play until he is 90 and not catch the fivehead in one and dones. If Tom plays 4 more seasons at a high level, he may outlast Drew Brees and retire with every single meaningful NFL career passing record. The playoff stats alone would show a gap from other QBs that will stand forever.
Peyton Manning will be erased from the record books, except for "most ginormous forehead possessed by any heavy HGH user in NFL history" and "most one-and-dones in NFL history"
Brady is only 5781 behind manning in yards so that will come in 2019. He is only 51 behind in tds so that will come in 2019.If Tom plays 4 more seasons at a high level, he may outlast Drew Brees and retire with every single meaningful NFL career passing record. Eh Manning's records go down regardless. Brees is 1500 yards away from breaking the passing yard record. Brady will pass him too if he plays two full seasons. Both of them are exactly 51 TD's away from Manning. Brady has thrown for less than 25 TD's three times in his career. Brees has twice since 2004. Hell realistically the last 3 times Brady threw for sub 30 was the year he came back from his ACL tear, the dreaded 2013 season, and the 4 game suspension year. If they both play two full seasons, one will break it. If either plays for 3 it absolutely goes down no questions asked. But realistically, unless Brees gets injured yards goes down next year no matter what. TD's requires good play from them for 2 years. If Tom plays 4 more seasons at a high level, he may outlast Drew Brees and retire with every single meaningful NFL career passing record. The playoff stats alone would show a gap from other QBs that will stand forever.
