If you leave a company and retire from another, do you go out of your way to thank your precious company during your retirement party? Most wouldn’t. He thanked the Pats two years ago, retired a Buccanneer, and will be remembered for being a Pat. Our time will come again in 4 years.
Just FYI, Manning in his retirement press conference spent a lot of time talking about the Colts years.

I don't blame Patriots fans for feeling snubbed. I am STILL a huge Brady defender, from his play to deflategate. But I do think yesterday was just plain petty for Tom, beneath him, but really dumb to distract from his retirement day.

Drew Brees will have more fanfare than Brady upon his retirement, and that is a damn shame.

Manning also teabagged his trainer in college and then had his family threaten her. The guy is the biggest fraud there is.

He didn’t distract from his retirement day. News outlets looking to cash in on the addiction to outrage distracted from that, and the outraged bought it hook, line, and sinker.

LMAO.

Then why did Tom thank the Univ. of MI? During my retirement party from a company I would not thank my alma mater. Your analogy is weak. But that is the way you see life, so that is the analogy you use.

Why do you do this? I was answering your idea that people don't mention their former orgs when they retire. Yet in football they do.

Brady's posts were deliberate yesterday, without a doubt.

He is the most hated athlete in America by far, most loved in New England. It's just dumb of him.

There was a difference the younger Brady was capable of carrying a team with lesser talent, the Brady of the last couple of years needed talent around him to succeed. Remarkable the level of performance given his age regardless.

I still question whether can can carry a bad team like he did in say 2006. But he is capable of being elite when he has good to great pieces around him. But we will never know on the former.

Word was Belichick thought he saw a decline in Brady before 2019. They were obviously wrong if they did because he was still good enough to lead the league in most passing categories two years later.
My understanding is there were no concerns about Tom's ability to carry a team.

It was everything else.

You wouldn’t? Your alma mater is a huge reason why you had your job in the first place. He didn’t thank his alma mater when he left here. He just thanked the team, Kraft, BB, and fans. He then left here, because the team chose not to sign him long-term when they had numerous opportunities to do so, and retired with another “company” (team). It’s a lot more normal to thank your alma mater in a retirement speech than to thank your precious employer.

The analogy isn’t weak at all. You just got clobbered with it and now you’re pretending as if it would be more normal for the average Joe or Jane to thank their previous company and their alma mater when retiring than just thanking his or her alma mater.

Bob Kraft, do you know who he is? Well he is furious that Brady insulted the Patriots. It is not just me, Hugger
Brewskies. When you mature you will realize that not everything posted on the interwebs is true .

So once again you made yourself look stupid in addition to being a butt hurt crybaby

Why do you do this?

Do what?

I was answering your idea that people don't mention their former orgs when they retire. Yet in football they do.

So what? He thanked the organization when he left here. He left the Bucs now, so he thanks them.

Brady's posts were deliberate yesterday, without a doubt.

Maybe. The question becomes why one blames him for this situation instead of blaming the organization who refused to sign him multiple times and let him ride off into the sunset?

He is the most hated athlete in America by far, most loved in New England. It's just dumb of him.

I think that “most hated athlete in America” thing clearly stopped when he left the Patriots.

Also notable on the other side that Bill hasn't put out a statement yet on Brady. Seems weird on both sides.

It is fascinating how BB's philosophy is to say a little as possible but sometimes by not saying anything speaks the loudest.

Maybe it's a simple as he doesn't feel the need to say anything but I don't think so.

Quite the dichotomy in communication.

He’s not MY God. I just don’t see the big deal. But I also still get laid and have a life outside of following the Patriots while picking icicles out of my butt cheeks.

So the question remains - if you don’t care what Brady does, why are you in this thread and why do you think it looks “really bad?”

I also don’t remember threatening to fight you. Or anyone, for that matter. Maybe you can find that post a jog my memory.
I'm not going to dig through your posts to find it. i don't care that much. i have better things to do like picking snot out of my nose. You're just going to have to take my word for it. Look through your posts yourself. You will find it. It was a long time ago. We laughed about it after the fact I think. You spend all your time trying to prove people wrong to win a conversation. When you can't. Why? Because it's just a matter of opinion. you don't think it's a big deal. Fine. i think it's a **** move. A lot of people agree. so its not some out of left field crazy opinion to have. let me say now. You have totally destroyed me and my take on Tommy boy. You have won and left me crushed with icicles rammed up my ass longing to get laid. lol i have no life. but i will soldier on.

Definitely. The last two years he was more hated in NE than in America

@upstater1 since you mentioned Brees, tell me how many times you see him mention the Chargers here.

Dwight Clark was a Pro Bowler in 1982. Wendell Tyler was a Pro Bowler in 1984, and Francis was key in the Super Bowl that year. This argument doesn’t hold water. That said? This is at least better than coming to the realization that Brady needed weapons at the skill positions. The funniest part is that you needed time to “think” about that. I hope you didn’t hurt yourself. What’s next? You’ll tell us that the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West? 2 + 2 = 4?

Clark had a couple good seasons, mainly because Montana had no one else to throw to. No one is going to confuse Clark and Freddie Solomon as "great" weaponry. And I certainly wouldn't consider the receiving corps Brady had from 2001-2004 to be great. Brady would not win today with that same cast of receivers.

Not a great analogy. He was the starter in San Diego for 4 years and 15 years in New Orleans. Everyone will remember Brees as a Saint.

Yeah, so that didn’t happen. If it did, it’s easy to find in 5 minutes using the thread search option. Just use my name, enter the words “fight” as the search word, and narrow it down to this forum or every forum. That’s how I found all those Covid posts from two years ago.

Anyway, since I’m not the topic of the debate, why not answer the simple question. If you don’t care, then why are you continuing the conversation when you can just go pick your nose?

ya, it did happen lol. i don't need to make things up to try and win some message board battle. You already crushed me. I'm continuing the conversation because it's a message board, and my nose is now free from snot. And god please don't insult me. I just don't think i can take that lol.

Clobbered? Haha. Too funny. That is how you live - clobbering people.
