You are just trying to twist this to seem normal when it's not. Maybe he called Kraft who knows. But in an official retirement statement the Patriots 20 years and 6 super bowls don't exist and neither do his teammates from that time.

Go read any players retirement statement. Guarantee they thank all the teams, coaches. Players they played with. Not just their last team.

I think the chips he carries on his shoulders is what makes Tom Brady. You don't get the insanely competitive assassin chips that drove him for 22 years then you dont get the greatest quarterback if not player ever. That he caries that chip against the Pats now deserved or not is part of the package. We may not like it and even resent it but without Tom's chip fuel we would not be talking about the career of the GOAT. Personally I can't thank him enough for the 22 year ride. Any players retirement statements were more gracious. Brady wasn't any player. What drove him, not what drives any other player makes him who he is. We should appreciate that

To be clear: I have zero issue with Patriots fans who didn’t join in the cheering for Brady after he left. I get it. I’m just shocked at the amount of outright resentment from a quite a few people…probably about 10-20% of the board members. Brady says all the time how much he values relationships, and those he's made with so many of his teammates. Give that claim, you think Brady would have said something in his IG post at least about his Patriots teammates over the years, love for Kraft, certain coaches and the fans too, maybe? #12 is the GOAT, but am appalled by the lack of respect that he showed the Patriots and Fans.. after 198 picks he was chosen by the NEP, and the chance of even becoming an NFL QB was not overwhelming, however BB, Weiss and **** Reibehn saw something in him his abilities and work ethic. In 2001 he overtook Drew, to the dismay of many fans and many of the press, however the choice was a great one made by the Pats brain trust.

He had an outstanding career for the NEP and moves onto Tampa, where he has two more good years. Now he retires and thanks the whole wide world while excluding all of us and the team we root for. That is a pretty bush league move, and as I suspect this whole team sport becomes more about him and furthering his financial interests.

Even if he and BB had some sort of conflict, his exclusion of the Kraft Family and all of fans is a p...ss poor move on his part, he is better than this, or I was duped into believing he was.

Tom literally thanked us two years ago when he left. He also did a 10 part documentary that aired during the season where he talk exclusively about his time in NE. Thanking everyone, pointing out how instrumental Bill was in his development etc etc.

But all the people are hang up on is he didn’t thank us in an instagram post. Tom Brady doesn’t owe us anything. In fact WE should thank HIM for all he has brought to this organization and to us
