A dunce like you would take a quote out of context? No way. Looks like you must be right then.

The fact that the people on here who have been the most critical of Brady since 2019 are also the most butthurt about him not acknowledging the Pats (yet) today isn’t going unnoticed. Trouble moving on, fellas?
Its like some mafia **** to some people... brady leaving NE for two seasons is like some godfather **** to them.

Who cares if he left for two seasons.

Answer: People who don’t know what a vagina feels like.

If he never mentions the Pats all offseason and there's nothing else planned, we can react then.
At a bare minimum he'd be well served to pay lip service. Good marketing strategy and all that...

Is there any truth to the 1 day contract with NE? I could see Kraft wanting to make a big deal about it

Kraft would do it in a second. I am not sure if Brady would. Not because he is bitter towards the Patriots. I just don't think he wants to get up at a podium and talk about retiring either here or Tampa.

I am wondering if the Tom Brady Forum will be less active in these coming years.....probably so.
The Tom Brady forum was created because triggered, cry baby patsfans didn't want to see the name of the greatest Patriots player of all time mentioned on the main forum. Those same cry babies are now whining about Tom not mentioning the Pats in his announcement of retiring from the Bucs team. Lmao

The whiners like to pick and choose when they care about what "ex-Patriots" are doing. The mods caved to the babies and the babies still whined that there was even a subforum about the greatest player in franchise history.

Here’s my perspective:

I obviously loved Brady while he was here.

I continued to root for him like crazy when he was on the Bucs (the Pats game being the lone exception).

Many fans are in this same category, so yes it does kind of hurt that he hasn’t acknowledged New England fans. It’s a small thing bc it doesn’t change my life at all but it is disappointing.

You want to be mad at Bill or Robert? But what could he have against the fans that have stood by him for over two decades?

The best players almost always make bad coaches.
Makes sense....they just can’t understand why mortals can’t also play like the greatest player of all time...which I’m sure would lead to frustration

Some of us our Pats fans. Since you are a Brady fan, I don't expect you to understand.

To be fair in his final moments in this league, the people who were with him are the bucs and his family. The pats were busy handling their own business as they should. Point being once thing cool off he'll come around.

A very sad day indeed. I enjoyed rooting for him even as a Buc.

I am really shocked that he completely omitted any mention of the Pats though. Clearly he does not forget slights (199 chip after becoming the goat) but still thought he would not take this route for his retirement announcement...for commercial reasons if nothing else.

I am sure he will mention/do Pats stuff soon but still weird.

It's kind of poetic though that a board that literally binned any mention of him to a sub forum is complaining about being binned to a later date.

It definitely shouldn’t be shocking since he’s said for years that age 45 was the number, and he will be 45 at the start of the 2022 season.
It shouldn't shocking be but it is for me. I don't understand how you could retire when you're STILL the top QB in the league at 45, but I prioritize things differently.
