What made him fall?
No fall really; he was taken more or less where I expected him to go.

@Real fan 02 the 49ers really have a eye for good WR Talent they picked a two Prospects @ WR who could really be good players for them Ricky Pearsall who I thought went way too early in the First Round and Jacob Cowing in the Fourth. I liked Jacob Cowing as much as I did Javon Baker I think he will be a steal aslo.
I really hope between Osborne, Baker, and Polk they can push Juju off the roster. I just have an irrational level of hatred for Juju.
Look who the Steelers chose in the Third Round a very dangerous player he rose up the charts and checked all the boxes. I think he's going to be a good one too I was a little jealous when they selected him.

Juju: 4.54 Forty
Polk: 4.52 Forty
Baker: 4.54 Forty
If they were anymore similar they would be twin brothers.
I thought Juju looked quicker right before he got hurt, he had the most productive game of last season... we'll see how he looks this year.Yes, I've mentioned that as well. As it's said you don't get healthier as your season goes on. Kb will likely be on PUP to start the season I'd assume. Juju is better off just coming to camp showing the team he's healthy and ready to compete. Juju has had injuries the last few seasons.. didn't he deal with a hamstring issue last season as well?
Highly doubtful he runs it months after knee surgery, more likely he does now a year removed from surgery.Highly doubtful that JuJu runs a 4.54 nowadays... And his shuttle & 3-cone times? Fuhgeddaboutit.
Osborne, Baker, Polk, Douglas, and Bourne are locks to make the team.I really hope between Osborne, Baker, and Polk they can push Juju off the roster. I just have an irrational level of hatred for Juju.
Juju has a chronic knee issue, and it's arthritic.. he's 28 with the knee of a 68 year old man. He's never going to be what he was in Pittsburgh.
oo early to give up on Thornton and 100% Reagor should make the teamOsborne, Baker, Polk, Douglas, and Bourne are locks to make the team.
There is literally no more room on the roster.
Maybe we'll carry a returner. Reagor looks like he has that spot.

It is theoretically possible that a player who plays special teams might beat our Reagor or be the #5 if Bourne starts on PUP. That man is NOT Juju. It could be Thronton. Although that is unlikely, I could see Thornton being given the opportunity in camp. Also, Thornton could make the 53 if someone is injured.

They both bring high end speed to the receiver group which is desperately needed.
Bourne and Osborn bring duplicate skill sets. I think only one of those 2 stays
That Information isn't new. It's what the KC medical staff mentioned and ultimately why he wasn't re-signed. Juju said himself when he signed here he played in pain, and discomfort during the superbowl.Has this ever been confirmed? There were reports that seemed like rumor, and JuJu shot them down.
What is your source other than reporter gossip?
As much of a complete disappointment as Thornton has been I would still want to keep him over Juju if it came down to it. Maybe there is the slimmest of slim chances that with a new coaching staff and quarterback they find a way to get some sort of production out of him. I agree though that the 6th guy kept in that room would likely be Reagor unless there is a shift in kickoff returner types with the new kickoff rules.Osborne, Baker, Polk, Douglas, and Bourne are locks to make the team.

Marcus is probably KR1 anyway. As much of a complete disappointment as Thornton has been I would still want to keep him over Juju if it came down to it. Did Jones return many kickoffs? I know he is the main punt returner when healthy but off the top of my head I can't remember any kickoff returns.Marcus is probably KR1 anyway.
Bill did mention that it would make sense to have two capable returners back so the kicker can't mess with the returners.
Either way I don't think Reagor automatically makes it only as a returner.
Jones had 27 kick returns for 645 yards and a long of 46.Did Jones return many kickoffs? I know he is the main punt returner when healthy but off the top of my head I can't remember any kickoff returns.
Good to know. For some reason I didn't remember Marcus Jones returning many kickoffs. I would think that does lower Raegor's chances of making the roster if it comes down to him and Thornton or Juju.Jones had 27 kick returns for 645 yards and a long of 46.
Raegor only had 7 last year for 221 yards with a long of 98 and a TD. Obviously the TD return skews it a little.
I like them both and if the new rules dictate using 2 Kick returners than we are in good shape.
But Jones is definitely good enough that Raegor is not a lock.
