1) punt returner who can be the emergency 5th WR

2) special teamer who can be a backup front severn defensive backup

OF COURSE, Belichick might be planning to trade for such a player, after he sees who has been cut (or before).

.....What needs? ;)

Can Phillip Dorsett return punts? He hasn't really done it in the NFL, but he did for a while in college.

Jeremy Kerley was cut by SF. Pats don't need another WR, but he's an experienced PR that may have a bit of gas left in the tank (turns 29 in November).

Needs:

2 NFL-calibre backup OTs, including at least one who can capably play LT;

2 NFL-calibre backup G/Cs, including at least one who can capably play Center;

Professional Punt Returner;

WR with size who can win jump balls and move chains;

At least 2 NFL-calibre Pass-Rushers;

LB who can actually cover TEs & RBs;

Backup (future?) Strong Safety;

#4 CB.

Felger is that you?? Borges??

In this world the "cap is crap"...

Johnson Bademosi - crazy man in the DB/ST role who will run through walls for the Patriots out of gratitude for being rescued from Cleveland

Philip Dorsett in the PR/backup WR role to Hogan and Cooks who will run through walls for the Patriots out of gratitude for being rescued from Indianapolis

New needs?

1) backup OL/center (should have kept Karras IMHO)
2) someone to go to Captain Stone's house and read the starting lineups to him over and over until he smiles and opens a beer.

Did I see TJ Ward signed by the Bucs? So one need for week four now - no one getting hurt (Gronk!) by that dirty (*&^%$#!!

So everyone is okay with Richards as S4?

The more Captain Stone sh.ts on them the better they actually are.

So true. Captain Stone had explosive diarrhea halfway through the 3rd quarter of SB51. Belichick knew he had 'em right where he wanted 'em.
