Yeah but Gronk Blocked...Fair enough but we liked Gronk and the guy is a total buffoon himself. Hard for us to criticize Kelce while rooting for Gronk.

Not a snowflakeDidn't watch game of thrones, eh?
Not a snowflake
I've been trying to get my wife to watch game of thrones for years but I finally gave up a while ago and rewatched the series. Watching Joffrey suffer was just as good this time.
It's phenomenal pop culture until they mailed in the final season.I've been trying to get my wife to watch game of thrones for years but I finally gave up a while ago and rewatched the series. Watching Joffrey suffer was just as good this time.

I dunno about season 7. "The Spoils of War" is spectacular. You could tell me the dragon is real and I would believe it.For me, I'd say the first hints that something was off was in Season 6, but two, very cathartic episodes at the end made it forgivable. Season 7 is also rough...really rough.
I actually kinda hate that HotD is tying in with the GoT story (Visaerys/Daemon's vision)...unless it's a different continuity.
It was a great episode and the finale was also very good but everything else kind of went off the rails, especially the journey beyond the wall in the penultimate episode.I dunno about season 7. "The Spoils of War" is spectacular. You could tell me the dragon is real and I would believe it.
The beyond the wall episode had some huge plot holes, for sure.It was a great episode and the finale was also very good but everything else kind of went off the rails, especially the journey beyond the wall in the penultimate episode.

Rare is a the series like Breaking Bad that 100% ends stronger than it started. More often than not, it's like GoT, where they simply hung on too long. That final season needed to be probably 20 episodes to get the proper character development. At least in HoD, they are delving into Daemon's decent into madness way before a possible snap."Spoils of War" is the standout episode of S7, to be sure.
Beyond that, there are a pile of issues in S7 from teleportation to barely credible character choices and more. I remember, even after all that, I had hope. After all, S6 was pretty uneven, but I felt it really stuck the landing (a couple minor quibbles aside). I really thought they were going to pull it together with the final season. Alas...
...maybe we'll get an animated remake one day.

Well, we've hijacked the snot out of this thread.
TSwift is a bigger deal than Gisele, pop culture wise. Gisele was the most famous model, but no one was filling stadiums (and outside stadiums) to see her. Swift is a genuine pop culture phenomenon that we haven't seen maybe since the Beatles. I don't think she's changing the world like they did, but the crowds she draws outside the building at her shows is really unprecedented. I think there's a large swath of populous that doesn't get Swift or the Swifties and are happy to make noise about how they don't get it. So there's a vocal minority that pushes back on it, unlike when Gisele or Jessica Simpson had their time in the luxury boxes.I remember when Romo was dating Jessica Simpson and the games it would show her in the suite. It only became a "distraction" because the Cowboys were just starting their tradition of choking.
How did Brady dating the most famous model in the world fly so under the radar compared to now?

Thread back on track.
