NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION The Super Bowl 56 game thread

I gotta say it feels weird not having someone to root for or against. I'm still kind of shocked the Bengals are here but I still don't feel the urge to root for them. It seems like the Rams are clearly the better team but it feels foolish to just count out the Bengals. We'll see.

1st Superbowl I get to participate in all the games and party festivities. I usually just watch the game exclusively due to the Patriots or rooting against our foes. Not this year no team really bothers me.

Snoop Dog is part of the half time show.
I’m always fascinated at how much people actually care about the halftime (I assume you are among the “the game is the real deal” crowd).

Halftime is for housework or a shower or snack prep.

You most not be American. Who the F^*k takes a shower or does housework during a SB halftime?

That's the time to catch up on drinking.

You’re right. I’m not. While not against drinking, it’s never been a driving force. Mind you, if I had to wat h halftime shows, it’d probably be the kick in the pants to drive me to the rhum.

You don't drink in the shower?

Bengals better win today because with their ownership and how they will never spend money to keep the team strong long term they ain’t getting back anytime soon.

Crazy Train still better than these entrance music

Burrows looks about 15 !!

MARVEL ZOMBIES, MUTHA******!

I suspect a Ram win would lead to a few more teams deciding draft picks are to be traded. I just wonder how many teams would go that route.

I don’t think it’s a sustainable plan, but many franchises don’t care about sustaining excellence. They are so starved for a ring that they’d throw caution in the wind.

Ok. I finally decided and put my money on the Rams. Although a low bet as I don't really care about either team. Hopefully Rams pull it out by more than 4.

I got a 300 dollars bet on the Rams to win by at least 10.

Yep.

This feels like a fluke run.

I wonder hard it will be for Chris Collinsworth to not show favoritism for the Bengals.
