The REAL game winning play

Great stop. Just IMAGINE if they would've let him score like the Patriots did with Bradshaw in the last SuperBowl. Wow.

Key play was the coaching staff of the patriots not calling a timeout after stopping lynch short of the line. There was about 45 seconds left? So I thought they would call timeout let them score on purpose next play and hope for a shot at a field goal. However, they let time run, potentially changing the play call of Seahawks. If pats calls timed out maybe the Seahawks run it.

would have been a qb sneak for no gain.

Assuming the DL didn't get any push. Anyway, drawing the penalty was still a great play regardless of what might have happened.

I was bashing them for not letting him score and giving tb12 a chance to win the game. Shows what I know.
i was wondering if that was something that BB was thinking of doing

Yeah...if anything else happens in a different way (timeout, etc), there's a decent chance that the end result isn't the same.

Different decisions would've been weighed, different personnel would've been on the field, etc.

Unbelievable! Just remarkable!
