Well he won't play Sunday for sure, and they'll have a harder time getting the rushing record...

You have to outscore the opponent.
If your drive puts up points you are better off.
If you score points you increase your own points per drive
if you score a td in one play the worse thing that can happen is you get the ball back right where you started wrt the score.
If you eat time and don’t score the best thing that can happen is you get the ball back in the same shape, but if they score you lose ground.
Sure a terrible team should hope for a short game so fluke would have more impact but given your example it doesn t much matter how Amy possesssions if you accept they score more per possession. Winning is about getting points on your possession and not letting them get points on theirs.
Trading points for clock is a losing proposition unless you are protecting a large lead.
The NFC teams don't scare me. Maybe they should but they don't.If we beat KC and Baltimore, I think we win the SB...
The SF dline scares me a bit but JimmyG would more than make up for it with a few fumbles. SEA,GB don't scare me at all and Saints 60/40.The NFC teams don't scare me. Maybe they should but they don't.
My belief is if the offense plays like it did vs the Jills (o-line solid, ran the ball, Tom sharp) and put up 24 points, it'll hang 30+ vs NO, SF, GB or SEA and our D will keep them under 24.The SF dline scares me a bit but JimmyG would more than make up for it with a few fumbles. I can roll with that. I'm not really worried about KC. I know they could come in here and win, but I don't think they would. It's BAL and KC that worry me.
I’m saying scoring points is what matters. Long drives without points don’t win games.I have no idea if you are disagreeing with me or not.
Sf has allowed more points in the last 8 games (212)than the patriots have allowed all season (198)The SF dline scares me a bit but JimmyG would more than make up for it with a few fumbles. SEA,GB don't scare me at all and Saints 60/40.

He will have an impact if it's close in the end.Reid's not playing.
Let me know when they have a defense worth not LOL-ing at.Lol at you guys sleeping on New Orleans
Belichick saying the playoffs have started, harbaugh saying kick back and take it easy. Will it make a difference?

I'm hoping Lamar will be rusty in the divisional round. It's never a good idea to go 3 weeks without taking a snap.
Taking it easy vs a team that is fighting for it's playoff life is a recipe for disasterBelichick saying the playoffs have started, harbaugh saying kick back and take it easy. Will it make a difference?
Right. The NFC teams don't scare me. Maybe they should but they don't.

I demand BAL docked $10m for point shaving, Harbaugh removed as HC and Biscotti never allowed to eat Italian food again.Harbaugh is hoping to keep the Titans out it would seem...if the Steelers win and Titans lose, the Titans are out. But a Ravens win and a Titans loss would mean the Titans are in. So the only way for the Titans to miss the playoffs is a Steeler win.
