The Randy Moss all of medialand wants no part of - The POSITIVE side - The QUIET side - The GOOD HEARTED side - The future Smoothie entrepreneur side

The Make A Wish Foundation in Minneapolis and other charitable events he is a big member and still a big part of and not to mention his beliefs in god and his future - A nice article

Kudos to you my friend. This is MOST DEFINATELY NOT an article that the Boston media wants out there. Very interesting stuff.

Hi guys! This is Chris Yandek or the guy who did that interview with Randy. I was checking my latest traffic and this forum came up. I wanted to weigh in.

I am actually working on talking with Randy again so we shall see.

I am 21 years old and a media personality who doesn't have an agenda or take any opinions of somebody into an interview. I do my best to get across who they are and let them speak for themselves.

I think sometimes we jump to judgements of people we really don't know or haven't talked with.

Randy is a lot more intellegent than people give him credit for. He was very honest in our interview and I just don't think he was very happy with his situation in Oakland. He does charity work, but doesn't feel the need to publicize that.

He has also taken a big involvement in the management side of Inta Juice and is preparing for his life after football.

I run my own outlet that isn't backed. I do work with Coporate America every day, but I feature my work in it's full length in the audio and transcript.

Many seem to take something away from that interview even though it's from this past Fall.

If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.

Chris

To Chris Yandek,

First of all: Congratulations on a great interview.

Second: Welcome abroad!

Third: Please keep up the good work!

I sincerely hope that you get to do another interview with Randy. The negativity in most of the local media who do not even want to give him a chance and are prepared to blast him (and the Patriots) is just amazing.

Your line "I think sometimes we jump to judgements of people we really don't know or haven't talked with." is excellent and hope the local media and the rest of us read and follow it.

Good luck!

Whether I am interviewing Randy, Cal Ripken Jr., a Hollywood actor, TV personality, or anyone else, I just treat them like everyone else.

We all are humans and make mistakes. I think Randy has tried to do many positive things and has learned from his past. I will ask the tough questions in an interview, but reflect on the positive as well.

The guy took a pay cut to come play for New England and he does want to win a Super Bowl. I think that says a lot.

Everyone knows everyone else even if they've never met them. I agree that high profile people aren't always accessible to the general public so it's the media's job to get these guys across in every angle.

I just want to give my readers and listeners a full perspective. The public deserves the full story. I brought up his legal problems, but I also talked about his charity work. You don't have to be slanted one way or another.

LMAO!! It wasn't too long ago this whole smoothie thing was brought up and people here were trashing him left and right. It's amazing what a different uniform does for a player.

I just hope he starts up an Inta-Juice here in New England....maybe Brookline or Cambridge or even Providence

Real nice interview BTW

Thanks! I am just glad so many people are finding something in it months later.

I am always willing to chime in with readers and listeners if there is a discussion about one of my interviews.

You never know who I might interview.

Chris

The fact that Randy was talking about really wanting to win a SB in the next year or two back in Sept. '06 tells you the rumors of his wanting to go to a better team were probably true. It's to bad Davis waned so much for Randy last year, because I think he really wanted to come to NE last year, as well.

He was gonna be on another team this season if the deal could get done.

He wasn't happy in Oakland and that was obvious.
