Not long ago, Brady was the lead plaintiff on a lawsuit vs. the league.

I doubt this would motivate anybody but Pash to want to clobber Brady, not even Goodell. But Pash himself? It's a possibility.

well, to go past that even a little bit, back when belichick was head coach of the jets for a day he hired kessler to file antitrust against the league, which pash represented, in order to chew his own leg off to escape the jets.

The nastiest and stupidest quotes around Spygate come from Pash, so the idea of a Pash vendetta makes a lot of sense.

Goodell's misbehavior in Spygate was not necessarily anti-Patriot, because it's the same as he shows in every kind of scandal -- take a poll of his constituency to determine the punishment, with no regard for fairness, logic, or equality of treatment.

JEFF PASH: [re: camera gate] "I think with any disciplinary action, you have to focus on what exactly the facts are. Here you had, as best we can conclude, a single incident as opposed to, in New England, years of activity. You had an incident that, as best we could identify, was carried out by a single employee without direction from the coaching staff or anyone else at the club. That’s obviously different from what we saw in New England where the head coach was actively supervising the activity."

Where did you find this, eom. This is a freakin' SMOKING GUN.....besides it's hypocrisy of the highest order, and an indication of just how hot the "Border War" was back I the day.

Here you have a Jets executive calling BB a lying serial cheat, and 8 years later he's leading the prosecution of the same team as an executive of the League office. Yeah, Right. The Pats were sure to get fair treatment from the league.

Ken- Pash's background, unlike Kensil and others, is not from the Jets.

ummmm...if I remember right, I think maybe I was just googling around for dates and info for my little timeline I was building and that pash article came up.
the 'single incident' he's refers to is that mcdaniels video thing -- this was from back in '09, or whenever that happened.

here's a link to a regurgitation, but I think the original quote was from some denver paper

Pash came from Covington and Burling, where Tagliabue was and is again. Gregg Levy, the former lead counsel for the NFL is also at C&B. Kelly Naqi's husband was a paralegal there before working in various positions with the NFL and later serving as a VP for the New Meadowlands Stadium Company . C&B helped put together financing for the New Meadowlands along with other new stadium deals.

Pash sounds like a megalomaniac. Roger is looking more and more like a puppet.

Candidates to replace Tagliabue, several owners said, will include Roger Goodell, the league's chief operating officer; league counsel Jeff Pash; Eric Grubman, the league's executive vice president of finance and business transactions; Atlanta Falcons President Rich McKay; and Baltimore Ravens President **** Cass. One owner said that Goodell would be the front-runner at this point but that it was far too early in the process to make any reliable predictions.Candidates to replace Tagliabue, several owners said, will include Roger Goodell, the league's chief operating officer; league counsel Jeff Pash; Eric Grubman, the league's executive vice president of finance and business transactions; Atlanta Falcons President Rich McKay; and Baltimore Ravens President **** Cass. Except when it concerns his beloved Jets, then its parking ticket time as opposed to real punishment every time.
