Game Day Thread The Patriots vs. The Jests Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

this is one of those constipation games.

That was all on Brady. Judging from how he planted his head in the turf after the sack, he probably agrees.

Yeah, sometimes feel like McDaniels out-thinks himself, tries to be too cute rather than just plain ole 'go with what works'.

He very much calls games with the big picture in view. Unfortunately you'll take a bunch of little losses like that for bigger gains later but if they don't come these are the mistakes that will end up costing us.

Receivers dropping passes
Receivers not looking for the ball on hot reads

Tom may go ballistic at the half

McDaniels didn't call that play. Brady called an audible.
McDaniels always gets blamed around here even when it is clear Brady audibled.

Come on defense. No points before half.

Every time we face the jets it's always close nothing new here same old same old we'll be fine

Whoever changed the name of the thread, you stink.

Huh? That was a bad spot.

They spot the ball badly which lead to the measurement and challenge. Brady was gonna run a sneak on 3rd and 1 but Vinovich gave us a 1st down. The challenge cost us the element of surprise.

Chris who??

That was all on Brady. Judging from how he planted his head in the turf after the sack, he probably agrees.

The receiver never looked for the ball, which is why Brady had to take the sack.

What????

I blame the oline for getting blown up but they should have run the ball regardless.

Bad execution.

There is plenty of blame to go around. But I blame Brady for checking into an obvious passing play on third and less than a yard. They didn't even have to play run at all.

This how I saw the 3rd and 1 going:
Rush once or twice to get the first...keep the clock running...hope for a TD before halftime or at worst a FG.
Then come back in the 2nd half for the double score.

By allowing the sack, we allow the NYJ a chance to get point and momentum before the half.
We just committed situational stupidity.

As Rob mentioned it was on Brady. He audibled out of the original play.

Yeah didn't notice that on first look.

Whatever he saw it didn't materialize. At least they got points out of it.

Jets hinging their bets. I wouldn't call a TO. No need to take a chance if they wanna waste time.

That guy in the Acura commercial looks like Fitzpatrick...?

Stop them D!!!!

Let get another 3rd down stop

The way the D has played I let them play 1 more play then call a TO if need be and go for a FG.
