I was looking at the Patriots depth charts and roster. For the first time I counted how many rookies are on the 53 roster man roster. Sure I know of all of them as individuals but when you actually do a head count, that is 10 rookies (counting UDFA Hoyer).
If you count Tate, who seemed to make the 53 and then went out on IR, that's 11. We don't know about McKenzie who is also on IR.
I can't remember a contending team with so many rookies on the roster. maybe there were some. NO has 4, I think.
This could be one of the best rookie classes that we have had, equaling the 2004 class.
