Game Day Thread The official Patriots vs Steelers game thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

who cares if they get a fg...offense cant do anything

this team will make the playoffs, but the defense has to improve lots to do anything in the playoffs

Why are the Steelers bothering with field goals?

It's not like this defense could have two stops in a row

Forced the 3... Now they need the offense to step it up.

Is this the worst NFL defense ever assembled?

I mean statistically it is I think, but that may not mean as much since the rules favor the offense so much.

Yes, I believe this may just be the worst defense statistically ever.

Sorry, you can only "stand pat" for so long without going out to get quality players or spend money, and that is the problem. This team has been consistently the same bad defense and a good offense. However, once the o-line goes against an aggressive D-line then the game is a struggle for Brady too.The receivers struggle to get consistent separation. There is no fear in the opposing team to drop players deep because there is no deep threat to burn a corner one-on-one. Schemes only work so far if you have the players to execute it.

Why does it feel like keeping the Steelers O to 3 points is a massive achievement for this D?

is this drive a must score?

Being down 2 scores against a Steeler defense is recipe for disaster. This is where they thrive, Brady is going to be running for his life soon.

Let's just hope we come out with no injuries

It would be nice to see one pass go incomplete without players screaming for a flag.

Here is where Tom Brady can show everyone who the best QB in the league is. Playing like crap so far, but the game is not over.

Let's go Pats!!!

All those who think the pats will score a td here say "aye!" > crickets<

Truthfully even if we made the superbowl Greenbay would destroy this defense and their defense would do just enough ton win it.
