3rd & 30 and you let them get 29.75 yards? :bricks:

What an embarrassment that play was.

Nobody near him at all....he had miles and miles of open space.

Even the announcers knew they were going to either call a screen or draw. Can't see why our DC didn't think this was a possibility

How can the D not know what the Steelers are going to call on a play like that when everyone sitting at home knew what it would be?

Why is third and long always such a challenge for the Pats D?

There's zero objective logic for this, but I'd prefer a 3rd and 10-15 over 3rd and really long any day. It seems the defense gets into a prevent mindset in that scenario and the checkdown pass is almost always how this nonsense happens.

I would challenge that spot. He looked down about a yard or two from where they spotted it. Looks like they gave him where he stopped rolling not where he hit the ground.

that is a fire-able policy violation .. 3rd n effing 30 .. and we give it up .. it's inches, but they will go ..

Wow....just wow. If they give that up it's truly embarrassing...

Very embarrassing. Our coordinators drive me crazy some times with their playcalling and BB must be going senile if he's allowing it. :bricks:

3rd and 30 and they almost get it. really! How can they not be waiting for the screen. :bricks:

We are better at 3rd and 3 than 3rd and 30

Patricia is a girls name.

This is just embarrassing.

Awful spot. Full half yard to yard too long.

that's close, but i think he got it

Cant challenge with already having taken a timeout on the previous play

You cannot blame the defense though they practice all week against are offense; they probably expected them to send Develin and Blount in like McDaniels would have.
