Pats have shut down Kearse and Baldwin (combined 6 yards)
Pats have contained Lynch. 45 yards on 12 carries for 3.8
Wilson has a few runs but it was on our Prevent (I hate Prevent).
What has killed us is jump balls to Matthews mostly. That is the only thing that has worked on the Pats.
On O just keep doing what you are doing.
Blount has 10 runs for 37 yards. Not great but okay. Keep at it and the short passing game is working. Gotta depend on Brady to win this for us.
Hope the D fixes stuff. I would say Browner on Matthews is the answer and depend deep jump balls.
A spectacle of terrible music and no talent. All flash and no substance. I hate mainstream music almost as much as that 30 sec TD drive by the Seahawks
Neither Arrington NOR Ryan should ever be on the fcking field except for SITUATIONAL plays or in packages where they are GETTING HELP! These guys are Jags....and anytime they are left 1-1...it won't end well.....reminds me of Hobbs in 07......hope result not the same.....
Only 3 things from the first half pissed me off - Brady not throwing the ball out of the endzone and not settling for 3, Arrington and that prevent defense.
The offensive gameplan, for the most part has been spot on - exposing that zone defense.
25 minutes into the game I was feeling good about the Patriots given the D was playing well. Fast forward to 30 minutes and sadly, it now appears obvious that Seattle has found the weak points on D and is targeting those spots.
Brady and the O are going to need to carry the D again. This is where a healthy Gronk becomes critically important.
This should have been a blowout at the half and it's not.
Problem is seattle is going to get chunk plays now on arrington and ryan and let lynch lose also. We have to battle for every yard after catch on offense.
So this is the same board that made fun of Seattle fans for leaving when they were down 12 to the Packers with 5 minutes left?
We've already lost, from what I hear here. Good grief - we've outplayed the Superbowl champs for the first half. We've got a great offensive game plan. They hit a jump ball and got an end zone pick or this isn't close.
Seattle is a great team - this is a war. And no one I'd rather go to war with than the Patriots.
