Game Day Thread The official Patriots vs Redskins game thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Meanwhile, the Ravens are putting on a clinic on how you're supposed to dominate a win less team at home.

That lateral shift has worked a few times now

Love that lateral shift trick. Gets them every time.

At least McCourty is consistent. He can't stop the deep pass or the short pass.

I'm actually very glad that he didn't win DROY last year because that would make his awful performance this year even more embarrassing

BOOM!

BBDB baby! Nice play Mayo!

Ugh Dan,
They worked on the lateral shift in previous games. If you watched film, you'd have seen it...

we have a great D in this area, can't argue that

excellent timing by mayo

Bend But Don't Break defense strikes again.

Great goal line stop by the D.

If I rememner correctly, the D did that "shift" last week and it also resulted in a false start on the O. NICE!!!

They may have taken notes from the Pats last week who did the same thing before getting lazy.

well bend but dont break... still sucks that grossman was able to find stallworth deep

That shift has worked getting a penalty at the goal line a couple of times now

I think it's one thing to have seen it on film and another to get used to it in person, on the field, especially on a crucial 3rd down when that's not exactly going to be on your mind.

This defense could actually be decent if it only had 2 average corners.
