It's the smart play....a turnover or a holding call would be a huge mo shift....you don't want to punt,there......this is now a field position game, imo:rocker:

This reminds me of when Bill took thevintentional safety in Denver. The smart play that seemed weird at the time.

They better score after this. I feel like officials bungled up on that catch not being catch. We could have wasted challenge and TO. We wasted TOs anyway.

He was not in bounds......one foot,only.....would have been a stupid challenge.

CBS just showed it again...I think its a catch

He clearly didn't get the other foot down in bounds,it wasn't a catch, i didn't think it was close. If it was BB would have challenged it don't you think

His other foot comes down. Half time show just showed the catch and called BB out on it.

well its pretty even... but hate to say it flacco is out playing brady in the first half....

Not obvious. Brady hasn't had anybody as open as Torrey Smith.

Torrey Smith wide open and BB afraid to let Brady run the 1-minute drill are the two things that have me worried. The rest looks good.

Those of us who thought the game plan would be heavy on the waterbugs were right, up to a point -- see the focus on Woodhead, Edelman, et al. But I'm glad that the Patriots were ready to come back and pound it with BJGE when that was the percentage play.

I still think Brady can get just a little sharper on his throws, and the offense will, if not hum, at least have a pleasing steady growl to it. I just wish BB were sure enough of that not to take the knees ...

ok i might have been wrong on the gronk catch... but it was too close to call....

Well... Boomer confirmed that it is a CATCH...

Actually it is a good thing when Flacco is outplaying Brady and we're still winning the game. You know there's not a good chance of the QB battle continuing to go in Bmore's favor. 122 passer rating to Brady's 58. We are in good shape right now, got to finish strong though

My hope is that what we just witnessed was the return of the 'traditional' 1st half of flat play, knock on wood(head ).

To be a fly on the wall in the Pats locker room right now...

BB should just point to the MHK painting and walk out of the locker room...

I hate rushing 3 people , you should only do this if you are up by 40 with a couple of minutes to go.

Spot on when we were rushing 4 they were going 3 & out and Flacco was getting hit go back to what was working.

This is the defenses game now. Gotta hold them to less than 10 in the 2nd. The offense isn't clicking well enough to score more than 10-14.

I can't believe how many times Smith's gotten open...3 so far?

cant keep floating the ball

It gets tiresome when Brady keeps getting outplayed by lesser quarterbacks in big games.

This halftime team talk will not only inspire us to a superbowl, someone will be settling Tom down and watch him play this second half like he's done all season...

Yep, that was a catch. God damnit.

Well... Boomer confirmed that it is a CATCH...

It was a catch. The non-challenge is kind of a shocker.

If the Pats don't score to start the 2nd half, it could be a very long game.

torey smith vs shane vareen...Hmmmmm

I didn't understand them saying that Gronk didn't make that reception. His Left foot was in bounds when he made the catch and he got his right foot down in bounds. That makes it a catch. I was disappointed that it wasn't challenged either.

That being said, I knew it would be a tough game. It's turning out to be just that. Hopefully there will be no more miscommunications in the secondary.. That and Ihedigbo can make a jump on one of those passes to Pitta..
