Seems to me they should have enforced both those penalties since 1 was a dead ball personal foul.

Who was the guy in here talking about how this is only a game and we survived the air traffic controllers strike so this referee strike/lockout/whatever isn't a big deal? If this crap happens next week, this forum is gonna 'splode.

I think the replacement officials will only last through week 1 or 2 at the most, before the NFL gives in.

ESPN said, even if the NFL and the refs worked it out, it would still take a week for them to get back after they get the deal. But it seems the NFL has pushed the referee issue to the side. Both sets of refs have been horrible so it really doesn't matter who is reffing the game, IMO. The real refs are cheating other teams into wins and these refs are just confused, but eventually they straighten things out. so it's a lose lose situation as far as I'm concerned.
