2019 continues to be a turnaround year for defensive tackle Danny Shelton.
After being benched for four of the final eight games, Shelton turned in his best performance during Super Bowl LIII.
Shelton helped the Patriots defense shut down the Los Angles Rams running game.
The Rams wound up averaging just 3.4 yards a carry by the end of the night.

On Monday, the New England Patriots elected to bring back Shelton on a one-year deal as first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates.
Shelton thanked the Patriots for the new opportunity on Instagram while also revealing he will be a father later this summer.
Congratulations to Danny and family!
