I'm trying to watch Blount blow the Eagles apart but this giant Teboner keeps popping up and getting in the way....

say what you want, that scoring drive is how the Teebs does it..it doesn't look pretty but he's a tough SOB with a tremendous will to win...at this point he's made this team IMO

I think the idea is (1) he's working on his mechanics, which costs you something in the short run to do a remake; and (2) if he could just add a couple of more routine "pull the trigger to the primary receiver" plays to that moxie and toughness, he'd be a player.

I didn't see it but apparently he got a spike caught in the turf while he was cutting upfield.

Really great points....it is pretty pathetic on here tonight.....I disliked the guy when he played for the Donks....actually felt sad for him when he played for the Jests and now...AM WILLING TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE....and TRUST in the football mind that is Bill Belichick...NOW that he is a Patriot!!!!! IF BB decides he is NOT cut out for ANYTHING in our offense and CUTS him....then that is that....Until then....I will support the guy because he is a PATRIOT!!!....

PS - Some of you seem absolutely orgasmic that Tebow looks mostly awful tonight. When you are so invested in being right that you're rooting against a player on your team it's probably time for a reality check.

One thing to keep in mind when comparing Tebow to Mallett is that Mallett is now in his third year with this offense. Tebow's been in this offense for less than a month.

D he is 2/5 for 32 yards in playing against DB's in the 3rd quarter of the 1st preseason game on a team that went 4-12 last season and lost their top 2 CB's in DRC and Asomugha.

Here is someone who is paying attention.....I am no fan of tebow but the guy has gotten better since coming here. Most of the misses in his first series were not his fault. The 3 DL in the backfield play there....Brady would have gotten killed too. But he did miss a couple on the second series. In BB we trust....that is all I have to say on this....

Yup Tebow is definitely a winner. He has shown improvements in some areas. Although, he has things to work on with his accuracy and decision making. Good observations.

His wind up is horribly long, he holds onto the ball far too long, he misses wide open reads and then skips in Tebow Time and hits players in stride, runs the ball and keeps the O moving. Really, it's remarkable that a player as inconsistent as Tim Tebow always (or almost) seems to get the job done.
