Pats should win but it's always interesting in MIA.

After that MIA drive, 1/2 time comes at a good juncture in the game. Regroup and slow down the momentum MIA clearly has right now.

Sounds like a rock and a hard place for Nink, due to a good play by Miami. Nink's fine.

Exactly. It's the gameplan that TCU used against Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl a few years ago. The unblocked defender that they kept reading and running away from was JJ Watt, and he couldn't do anything about it.

It should be obvious that the Pats shut down nobody for a whole game. So far eventually everybody including the Sisters of the Poor rushing attack starts to jack out some yards on the ground and either Vince bulls up and stops it or not.

Even with that as usual the teams we tend to face in the regular season can only drive without tripping over a banana peel about once in every 4 or 5 drives.

Pro football has become a very different game than the one I grew up with. Not really sure I like this game better.

Every time I see these chump teams rack up rushing yards on us I worry about what will happen when we get to somebody that can really run the football.

Miami is going toe to toe with us, we have a 17 yard edge right now. I'd say we're fortunate to be up 7 right now with their ST gaffe's. Just gotta come out in the 2nd half and execute better don't let them gain momentum.

They have a GOOD defense and their DL is winning the battle of the trenches right now. Mankins and now connelly are definitely missed....Our D got sloppy on that last drive and that let them back into the game. I am hoping that BB will bring in another kicker to at least challenge Gost as we should be up 20-10 right now. Brady is off his game a bit.....Is Brandon Lloyd even playing today....if so, he is doing his best "Ocho" impersonation without the popcorn and pom poms......Fells can NOT catch a freaking cold.....where is Shane Vereen...throw to him in the flat or out of backfield PLEASE MCD!!! There....that is the first half summary....now back to you Ian........GO PATS

It's not too tough to figure out when the Pats are in an empty backfield set, that's why Miami is rushing all of their guys on the line and sending the rest into coverage. If they had to respect the run, via play action, it would open up the pass quite a bit and save hits on TFB.

you are right...that is pretty impressive and says something about our defense overall. GOT to TACKLE to win championships boys.....

Pretty fair Summary. Agree I wanna see Vereen in there one play can demoralize Miami. I mean how about using the RB's period. 7 carries all half, 26 pass attempts and at least 1 sack. No balance.

That would have been an amazing catch if Fells caught it - tough throw to make in a small window - Herndy is dropping the easy ones. I, too, am wondering where is Vereen? Our O looks terrible outside WW. Tom playing his typical miserable game in Miami.

Yeah, they don't look good on offense, but the game is about where you'd want it to be. They really miss Gronk when the field gets compacted in and around the red zone.
