No, no, actually they were a pretty good unit. The best on a team that was yet to get it's assignments figured out. Linebacker play is the best indicator of the health of a defense because they are impacted greatly by the group in front and the group in back. When the linebacker unit appears to suck it's because the entire defense is playing poorly. The linebackers themselves were the lone bright spot earlier this season.
